We are seeking a Recruitment Administrator to maintain and develop the administration processes for all aspects of Dogs Trust recruitment, providing a first-class service to the team and to candidates applying to Dogs Trust.
Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK with a nationwide network of rehoming centres and charity shops. Last year, Dogs Trust centres cared for over 15,000 dogs; we never put a healthy dog down.
HR is a growing team of 30 friendly, hardworking colleagues delivering a first-class service to the organisation and our 1,500 employees in more than 70 workplaces. Recruitment sits within HR and is a team of 3, managing around 80 vacancies at any one time and up to 500 in a year.
In this busy role you will look after the team inboxes, dealing with enquiries where possible, and escalating as required. You will be the first point of contact for external telephone queries, and will be responsible for all administration within the team, including requesting references and processing pre-employment checks, organising interviews, and maintaining the applicant tracking system, Harbour.
To be successful in this role you will be an exceptional administrator with brilliant people skills and a methodical approach to your work. You'll work will under pressure and will be able to prioritise your work effectively to be as efficient as possible.
