- Help prepare our Safeguarding Panel meeting agendas.

Main responsibilities will include:
Administration
- Be responsible for securing contracts by confirming booking information and working with the Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy to ensure freelance trainer contracts and Service Agreements are in place
- Oversee the general administration of all APD functions including responding to customer queries and feedback
- Process course bookings made via Thinkific and other platforms, ensuring all requirements are noted and passed on appropriately

In 2013, Upbeat Communities launched Derby Language School (DLS) which is a social enterprise that provides language courses to individuals and organisations in the East Midlands. Alongside generating considerable income for the charity through its private and corporate classes it also provides quality language training for many refugees through contracts with councils.
In 2021, Upbeat Clean was started in response to significant challenges that refugee women have in finding employment to support their families. Upbeat Clean’s 5-year goal is to be able to offer a Real Living Wage job to every refugee woman who needs one in Derby. Upbeat Clean is fast becoming the most talked about commercial cleaning business in Derby with contracts at key venues like Derby Museums, Getinge, Vaillant, Quad, Deda and large offices across the city.
The two social enterprises (DLS and Upbeat Clean) have grown substantially over the last two years with a combined expected turnover of around £700,000 in 2024/25 and more rapid growth ahead. We are seeking a highly experienced Trusts and Foundations fundraising consultant to spearhead the Trusts programme at Dreams Come True. As an excellent communicator, influencer, and relationship builder, you will have a proven track record of successful fundraising in this area: ideally securing between 6 and 7-figure gifts.

The role: Fundraising Manager
We are seeking a Fundraising Manager with a passion for our mission, who will build positive relationships to secure significant income, working together to harness the power of adventure to create lasting change and transform communities for all.
This is a new role, leading our small but growing Fundraising Team, and having a real input into our plans and strategies for the future. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the successful candidate will oversee all fundraising income generation activity and lead on our Major Donor Giving Programme. The role is full time, however part-time on a minimum of 0.8FTE would be considered for the ideal candidate.
