Eastbourne Foodbank is the busiest foodbank in the south of England helping 15,500 people last year.
The Deputy Chief Executive who will deputise for the Chief Executive will be responsible for leading 4 major sections of the work of foodbank - Campaigns and Communications Team, Advice & Debt Team, work with churches and lead on the Pathfinders project seeking change in our town. Our teams are led by experienced managers who are working to effect change in our town.
The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager, committed to challenging injustice and be an excellent leader of people.
In order to be effective in the role an understanding of church life, statutory services and safeguarding legislation would be desirable.
It is essential that the successful candidate is able to support and promote our Christian values and ethos.
