Case Studies Officer
In this exciting new role, the Kidney Stories Officer will shine a spotlight on the experiences of people affected by kidney disease, increasing awareness of the urgency and impact of our client's work.
Kidney Stories Officer Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will work closely with colleagues to reach out to people with interesting experiences. You will ensure our client's story-sharing supporters have an excellent experience and feel valued.
You will identify, cultivate and develop stories which will engage, excite and inspire people to raise awareness and funds for the organisation, supplying teams with the stories they need for their activities in written form and through other media.
Kidney Stories Officer Requirements:
The ideal candidate will combine sensitivity, a good eye for a story, and be very organised, with an excellent aptitude for accurate record keeping. You will be a skilled writer, interviewer, communicator and team player, with a logical approach and good time management skills. You will have experience of talking to a variety of people about often difficult issues. Your interpersonal and networking skills will inspire confidence in the patients and families you speak with.
Whilst the position will be primarily office-based, some flexible working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

With the incidences of obesity, heart disease and high blood pressure (all triggers for kidney disease) on the increase due to changing lifestyles, their work is more essential than ever, and they need talented, passionate and caring people to help get to a cure – faster.

Job type: Full Time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience
