Job description

Media Sales Team Leader

You will join our client as a Media Sales Team Leader managing and leading a sales team to achieve advertising sales targets for its business to business member agricultural publications.

Media Sales Team Leader Responsibilities:

Along with the leading a team your role will also have direct sales responsibilities within a defined sales territory. You will work with an established sales base of existing advertisers and be responsible for achieving your personal and team sales target. There is a need to grow the business through prospecting new opportunities both in print and online and would suit an innovative individual.

Media Sales Team Leader Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a confident and experienced media sales person, with the enthusiasm and resilience to work in a competitive market to achieve both personal and team results. You will be responsible for managing a team ensuring day to day efficient communication of team goals and business aims plus the setting and monitoring of individual standards of performance of team members.

A media advertising sales background is essential along with experience in leading a sales team in a supervisory capacity would be advantageous. However, consideration will be given to an ambitious individual seeking career advancement.

You will have experience of working under the pressures of targets and deadlines, and understand the importance of building long term business relationships, and providing an excellent standard of customer service.

Hours: Full Time, Permanent, 35 hours per week

Salary: £30,532 per annum plus commission and benefits
