Puppy Training Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Puppy Training Team as a Puppy Trainer. This role is at the forefront of our assistance dog training programme and is responsible for co-ordinating and monitoring the progress of the puppies to ensure they receive the highest standard of socialisation and early training in order to maximise their chances of becoming qualified working our client.
Puppy Training Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Providing on-going training, support and advice to volunteer Puppy Parents.
- Carrying out home visits and classes for Puppy Parents.
- Recruiting Puppy Parents.
- Monitoring progress of puppies.
Puppy Training Coordinator Requirements:
- Experience of training puppies.
- Demonstrable dog training knowledge and skills.
- A working knowledge of the assessment of puppy and dog behaviour and traits.
- Coaching and training skills.
- Current UK driving licence or able to provide transport to enable visits.

This important role will be based at our Midlands Training Centre in Osgathorpe, Leicestershire, working within a defined geographical location in the Derby area (please see the attached map) in order to visit our puppies in the region.
