Job description

ECHO is a charity working mainly with people with moderate or severe learning difficulties.  We also support people with mental health needs or who have physical or sensory impairments. ECHO runs 25 different activities each week in community settings across Herefordshire.

Like many voluntary organisations, ECHO faces funding pressure to maintain income levels to run our services.

ECHO only raises a small percentage of its income from general fundraising and there is a need to improve this. We are therefore looking to recruit a highly motivated and ambitious fundraiser to help ECHO meet its aspirations.

The successful post holder will work with our newly formed Marketing and Fundraising group and the Marketing Officer, to lead and  co-ordinate ECHO’s fundraising with the aim of raising income and increasing our profile.

It is a part time appointment of 30 hours per week, Hours to be spread between 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (working pattern open to negotiation). You will be based at the ECHO office in Leominster and some home working. However, on occasion you will need to work outside of these times, which may include evenings or weekends.
