My client based in the West Midlands is looking to recruit a Senior Supported Housing Officer who will be leading a team of up to 10 scheme officers across various sites.

As the Team Leader, you will be carrying out a range of duties, some of which will be the following:

1.Proactively work with and influence external agencies in promoting the business of the schemes

2.To support the Housing service & Property service manager in the production of marketing and promotional programmes and information to customers and wider stakeholders

3.To support scheme managers to provide customer focused housing services.

4.To facilitate the implementation of the customer engagement framework in conjunction with scheme managers and housing officers under the direction of the Housing Services Manager.

5.To support the Housing Services Manager to increase the number of customers involved and satisfied with their ability to shape and influence services.

6.To deputise for the Housing Services Manager at meetings as and when required.

7.You will be responsible for: delivering performance targets and maintain awareness of current issues in housing, health, social care services for the needs of vulnerable people in order to share specialist knowledge and assist in business planning.

8.Aware of regulatory consumer standards.

The Senior Supported Housing Officer will be managing a team of support staff within the young peoples schemes and therefore would need previous experience of working within similar roles to ensure they hit the ground running.

This is a temporary role for around 3-4 months depending on the needs of the client.This may change accordingly and can be extended if needed.

You will be fully DBS checked and a driver with access to your own vehicle as you will be required to travel across all the schemes in certain areas of the West Midlands.

This role requires around 30-35 hours per week and you will be expected to respond to any calls during out of hours, therefore flexibility in working hours would be needed due to the nature of the service.
