Here at Eden Brown, we are delighted to be working in partnership with a Charity who work closely with Children to ensure that they get the best possible education and start in life! We are recruiting a brand-new Bid Director to join a Charity who are dedicated to professional development. This role can be based in London, Birmingham, Manchester or at home.
This is a newly created role and really one for someone to make their own. As Bid Director you will be responsible for the senior leadership and to secure contracts that will fund the Charities purpose and life changing work. You will play an instrumental role in identifying opportunities both nationally and internationally. You will draw on technical input from across the organisation, ensuring high quality tender submissions, senior copy-editing bid responses, and implementing the bid process.
You will also oversee the transition from bidding to mobilising contracts, securing knowledge and buy-in during the bid process and building robust handover plans. The Bid Director will report their Executive Director, Strategy, and Impact, and will be responsible for building up a small, dedicated bid team.
We are looking for someone who is truly dedicated to the cause and has a strong track record in bid preparation and bid responses. Experience in writing and securing large government contracts is essential as well as experience of managing a team. Experience in writing bids in the education sector is essential.
