Job Description

Here at Eden Brown I am delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join a wonderful local disability charity that sits within the heart of the community. This organisation provides invaluable, tailored support to adults and young people living with disabilities across the North West. The charity works closely with individuals and their families to offer a range of activities designed to vastly improve their quality of life, broaden experiences and develop social skills. The charity is looking for a Community and Corporate Fundraiser to join their team raising income for the invaluable work of this organisation.

In this role you will be tasked with the exciting challenge of growing income through both corporate and community channels. Working with corporates, you will be primarily looking to develop new relationships and explore how these can benefit the wonderful work of this charity. With a base of community support already, the work done on this side will be more reactive, where you will have the chance to steward supporters ensuring that all who engage with the charity receive appropriate thanks and recognition.

To be considered for this wonderful and varied opportunity you will ideally have a background in fundraising and demonstrable experience raising funds through either corporate and or community income streams. Saying this, the charity is equally willing to consider someone with some fantastic corporate relationship or business development skills looking to make a move into the sector. Regardless of background, most importantly you should be a hard-working team player with an interest and enthusiasm for the wonderful cause of this inspirational charity.

This organisation boasts an engaging working environment and offers the opportunity to be either full-time or with a slightly reduced 30h a week. To find out more, or register your interest in this exciting opportunity, please contact Charlie Crew on 0161 2331600 or [email protected] The deadline for the role is 21st March, but if this is something of interest, early application is advisable.

Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
