Community Fundraiser - Local Animal Charity - South Lincolnshire (Permanent)
Salary: £17,000 - £22,000- Full time

A fantastic opportunity has come up to work for a local animal charity based in South Lincolnshire. For years this charity has been transforming the lives of abandoned animals by providing shelter and new homes and proud that they continue to be pioneering in animal welfare and rehoming. Due to a recent re-structure they are seeking a confident and experienced community fundraiser to work alongside their wonderful team. The main purpose of your role will be to ensure that fundraising activity is implemented and managed locally to deliver targets and increase income in line with Central Office and regional plans and strategies. To achieve this you will plan and coordinate fundraising activities and support the recruitment and development of fundraising volunteers across the centre's region.

You will be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills who is adept at building strong relationships. You will also work well in partnership with and supporting local staff and dedicated volunteers to raise the profile of this charity and to maximise income generated in the centre region. You will contribute to and deliver against annual budgets, targets and plans working alongside the Centre Manager and the Fundraising Manager. You will also work in close collaboration with the Fundraising Manager on joint fundraising targets and planning and maintain excellent communications between the Centre manager and Central Office on fundraising activity.
In order to apply you must be passionate about animal welfare and have at least 2-3 years experience in fundraising, displaying an ability to achieve set targets and goals. You must also have experience in marketing and events organisation and effectively use IT applications including social media.

Please note the role will be home based with travel required to visit potential supporters, community groups and the centre in South Lincolnshire so it is essential that you have a full driving licence with access to a car with the flexibility to travel.
