Community Fundraiser - Health Charity
Permanent - full time
Salary: £25,000 - £28,900 per annum
Eden Brown is currently supporting a fantastic health charity based in Nottingham in their search for a Community Fundraiser. The role of Community Fundraiser will be to increase income by working closely with local communities, groups, associations, churches etc. You will lead and inspire them to organise their own fundraising activities on behalf of the charity, as well as taking part in a plethora of organised events and challenges. The role will launch the charity's first regular giving scheme and have the full support of the Fundraising team and their network of community shops which they see as launch pads for local action and fundraising. This is a new post and you will work alongside the existing Community, Corporate Fundraisers and be supported by their Events and Fundraising Co-ordinators.
To be considered for this role, you will have the ability to communicate, interact and negotiate with people at all levels. You will need to be flexible, have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines. You will also be required to have a proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office.
As part of an experienced and highly motivated fundraising team, you will support the ambition to increase the profile of the charity and grow income to help provide more support to those who need care.
