Job Description

Here at Eden Brown I am pleased to be partnering with a fantastic local hospice, helping them source an entry level Community Fundraising Assistant. This role will provide a fantastic opportunity to give support to the hugely successful fundraising division in this wonderful charity that sits within the heart of it's local community.

As Community Fundraising Assistant you will be tasked with delivering exceptional stewardship to third party supporters and event participants, whilst striving to deliver outstanding supporter experiences to encourage repeat fundraising for the charity. With a focus on the charity's active challenge events portfolio you will have the scope to support marketing the events, recruit participants and deliver comprehensive stewardship plans.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have some experience working in a sales or fundraising environment and be comfortable working towards targets and KPIs. A knowledge and understanding of the third sector and fundraising is desirable, as is a geographical knowledge of the Sheffield area and local challenge events. Most importantly you should be a strong communicator with an ability to influence others and have an affinity with the wonderful cause of this fantastic charity.
