Whenever I see it flying overhead I blow it a kiss," says teenage Rosie who was involved in an accident in April 2017 and was flown by Air Ambulance Service. They fly across the five counties of Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Rutland, cover 3,850 square miles, have launched nearly 40,000 missions in the last 16 years and receive not a penny of government funding. This is why we need you! We are looking for a Community Fundraising Executive to join the team in the West Midlands (with a focus on Warwickshire, Coventry and more).

As Community Fundraising Executive you will be responsible for growing community awareness and driving fundraising activity across the region to meet income targets by managing existing relationships and creating new opportunities to raise awareness and generate revenue for The Air Ambulance Service. The Service is highly reputable and widely known but there is huge potential to grow the fundraising across the region to engage with further supporters and raise more vital funds. Working with local community groups as well as SMEs and local corporate organisations the role will be varied and interesting and allows scope for creativity and a fresh approach.

To be considered for this role you must come to us with demonstrable experience of developing successful new relationships and ideally (but not essentially) a significant track record in generating income in a fundraising setting. You should be a strong and confident communicator, known for your ability to form relationships with ease and engage with a wide range of audiences. Driven, ambitious and passionate you should come to us with an unrivalled enthusiasm to raise funds to facilitate the ongoing work of this life saving service.

The role is home based, with the option to attend the office in Rugby on a weekly basis (or as you see fit) and offers a generous car allowance or company vehicle.
