Job Description

Here at Eden Brown I am delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join a wonderful local disability charity that sits within the heart of the community. This organisation provides invaluable, tailored support to adults and young people living with disabilities across the North West. The charity works closely with individuals and their families to offer a range of activities designed to vastly improve their quality of life, broaden experiences and develop social skills. The charity is looking for an events fundraiser to join their team on a maternity cover period to raise income for the invaluable work of this organisation.

As Events Fundraiser you will have responsibility for planning and implementing a varied annual events calendar for the charity. You will take the lead on the management of the organisation's existing events, ensuring effective marketing to maximise participation and achieve event budgets, but also have the scope to develop and plan new events. Encouraged and developed well in your role you will have the full support of the Fundraising Manager, along with the autonomy to implement your own creativity on this role.

To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record in the planning and implementation of events, ideally within the charitable sector. Creative and passionate, you should be confident managing relationships with external stakeholders and have some unique and inspiring ideas to bring to the table. Most important is your ability to work as part of a dedicated fundraising team, working toward a combined income target.

This organisation boasts an engaging working environment and the part-time nature of this role means it can be flexible to suit you. To find out more, or register your interest in this exciting opportunity, please contact Charlie Crew on 0161 2331600 or [email protected] The deadline for the role is 21st March, but if this is something of interest, early application is advisable.
