Here at Eden Brown I am proud to be supporting an inspirational humanitarian charity, in their search for a London based Philanthropy Manager. The Philanthropy Manager will devise and implement a major donor strategy, to develop the major donor programmes income potential; helping to support this fantastic organisation to continue their wonderful work. This is a hugely exciting role within the organisation, but with the charity having already made some significant inroads to bring on new donors, this role will be a balance of existing supporter stewardship, as well as driving engagement with new donors.
As a Philanthropy Manager you will manage a team of Philanthropy Coordinators, to deliver against annual income targets and build a strong pipeline of highly engaged major donors. You will devise a strategy for engaged philanthropy that meets both the needs of the donors and the organisation by increasing income from the highest level of supporters. The Philanthropy Manager will build productive working relationships with key staff across the organisation, to ensure that all networks are maximised and work to embed the major donor programme throughout the wider organisation.
To be considered for this role you will have proven success in the delivery of a major donor programme that has engaged key influencers and secured significant income. You will have personal experience of influencing high net-worth individuals and secured six-figure gifts, while providing excellent donor-centric stewardship. The successful candidate will have the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team to deliver against strategy and financial targets.
