Job Description

We're fortunate to be supporting a wonderful arts organisation at a hugely exciting time in their growth, as they search for a Senior Development Manager to join their team based out of York. Working as part of a wider network, each individual organisation within this group inspires the community within which it is located and engages local people of all generations and backgrounds. This organisation really is hugely inspiring and is looking for an individual to deliver significant income growth through their philanthropy channel at this exciting time.

As Senior Development Manager you will be tasked with the exciting challenge of proactively growing and managing a portfolio of prospects to deliver major gifts. Identifying, cultivating and securing major gifts and philanthropy partnerships and sponsorship at a 5/6/7 figure level, you will be contributing to the organisation's ambitious income generation targets. In this role you will also take the lead on fundraising campaign planning and writing the long-term fundraising strategy making this a hugely interesting and varied role.

To be considered for this role you should come to us with an extensive demonstrable track record of fundraising, business development or account management and have extensive experience in identifying, cultivating and stewarding relationships at a 5/6/7 figure level. You must possess exemplary customer service skills and be known for your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Most importantly you should be flexible, adaptable confident and passionate, with an unrivalled enthusiasm for engaging with individuals in order to deliver significant growth.

Based out of York, this role offers a permanent contract, generous remuneration and benefits package and a flexible working schedule if required.
