Trainee Charity Recruitment Consultant
18-20k per annum
Office base: Manchester

Due to a record-breaking year Eden Brown is looking to expand the regional Charity and Not For Profit recruitment team and grow our team leading on to greater success!. Our team have the pleasure of working with the most amazing charities on a daily basis, locally and across the UK. We specialise in temporary, contract and permanent recruitment into a range of roles that support charities and help them to develop their unique and special services.

Due to team expansion we are looking to take individuals on across multiple areas including permanent fundraising, marketing and communications, temporary fundraising and corporate services. These are all highly successful business areas because of deep rooted relationships with our charity clients.

What does the role involve?

You will be working alongside specialist consultants assisting them in candidate development. The role will be both telephone based and involve face to face interaction with candidates creating a diverse and interesting working environment where no two days are the same. You will be speaking to interesting people to understand their career motivations and learning about how they add value to this fantastic sector. You will get under the surface of your core market area, and in time become an expert within your market with a view of developing your own business area. .

Main duties to include:
- Calling candidates on the phone
- Networking through social media - LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc.
- Sourcing CVs on job boards
- Meeting candidates/clients
- Business development

What skills to I need to be an excellent recruiter?

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with high workloads
- Resilience and tenacity
- Articulate and well presented
- Excellent IT skills

Ultimately you must have drive, passion and enthusiasm to work in the third sector and an interest in developing a career in recruitment. You will have realistic individual targets and will well remunerated for your hard work, working as part of a successful and supportive team.
