Volunteer/Events Project Coordinator - Leeds (Full time)
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (12 month fixed term contract - High potential to go permanent)
Start date: January 2019

Eden Brown is supporting one of its biggest clients in search for a Project Coordinator, to lead the development and delivery of a programme of events for children and young people across their operating areas. They actively engage and connect employers with education, public and private sector partners to widen their social impact. They work across the country with employers and educators to provide services that help employers to engage, inspire and motivate young people around skills, career options and future employment. Their award-winning and externally validated 'Make the Grade' programme is now in its eighth year and has had an impact on over 150,000 young people to date.
This really is a fantastic role for someone who is looking for a unique opportunity in the sector. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is a great team player. The main focus will be to ensure these events are of high quality and to achieve their agreed aims and objectives.
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Plan and deliver events and projects in line with agreements in place with their partners.
- Attend the events in order to host the day and support the engagement between the businesses and schools.
- Ensure effective and productive relationships are established and maintained with clients ensuring customer satisfaction and client retention.
- Work as part of a team with colleagues to ensure high level performance using organisational tools and systems.
- Proactively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the business.
- Provide support to the Business development and Partnership manager as and when required.
- Undertake other general duties as requested.

For you to be an ideal candidate, you will need to have experience in planning, organising and proven relationship management skills. You will need to be an excellent communicator both written and verbal. Experience of working with young people is not essential, however comprehensive experience of full cycle project/even management, delivering presentations or workshops to a large audience and facilitating groups or delivery of training is required.
