Job description

Are you a fundraising or sales professional with line management experience looking to make a real difference to adults from the local area and children throughout Cumbria? 

Eden Valley Hospice is seeking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious Fundraising Manager to:

  • Provide leadership to the Fundraising team on a day-to-day basis in order to achieve agreed income and expenditure targets to contribute towards the overall Income Generation target of £3.2 million needed to keep the hospice services running.
  • Work closely with the Head of Income Generation and Marketing to ensure the delivery of key elements of the fundraising strategy and business plans
  • Provide effective line management support in addition to monitoring and reporting on team performance
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovate products and events to add to our existing fundraising portfolio

We are a local charity dedicated to providing specialist care to adults from the local area and children throughout Cumbria, as well as caring for their families, friends and carers. It takes over £4.1 million per year to run Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice with over £3.2 million being raised through voluntary donations and fundraising activities. 

Key information about the role:

Full-time (37.5 hours), permanent role (6 month probation period).
