Job description

About the role:

We’re looking for a talented and capable leader to further our work, addressing the continued and strong demand from government partners to improve educational outcomes, and therefore the lives, of many of the world’s most disadvantaged children. As CEO you will lead the existing business and have the ambition and know-how to continue to build on the team’s impact internationally.

About EPG:

We, the Education Partnerships Group (EPG), are looking for an exceptional individual to join us as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

All children should have access to high quality education. Sadly, in many countries, too few children access education, and too much of what is available does not translate into learning. This stifles both personal and economic development.

Formed in 2015, EPG is a non-profit consultancy that supports governments in low- and middle-income countries to shape and strengthen their education systems. At the heart of our approach is the belief that governments are best placed to make decisions about their countries. Our role is to enable those decisions by generating and using research to ensure policy is informed by evidence, supporting the design and effective implementation of policy, and advising on the piloting and scaling of new policy reforms.

Our successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, empowering and motivating a team of talented staff
  • Need to show the acumen to thrive in a culture characterised by innovation, growth, and concern for demonstrable impact.
  • Win the confidence of key stakeholders, including governments
  • Our CEO must have superb interpersonal and diplomatic skills, and be a natural collaborator

How to Apply:

If you have the relevant skills and qualities, and the ambition to lead an internationally recognised group that makes a difference to education where change is most needed, please apply with a CV and cover letter on our online recruitment portal by clicking apply.

Applications to be submitted by Tuesday 1st of June at 10am.

Ark is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; all successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Ark Schools are committed to attracting, developing and retaining a diverse workforce, with a broad range of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
