Elders Voice is looking for Trustees to join our Board of Trustee. If you would like to use your skills and experience at Board level to help us with our work with older people in Brent, we would love to hear from you!
We are looking for committed individuals to expand the range of Trustee skills as well as to consolidate existing skills on our Board. We require dynamic and motivated people who want to contribute actively to the Board by giving strategic direction; setting overall policy; defining goals and setting targets; evaluating performance; ensuring the charity’s effective and efficient administration; and ensuring financial stability.
We want to have a wide range of people on the Board, and seek to be representative of the diverse population of Brent. There is no need to have trustee experience to apply although an interest in supporting older people is necessary
Trustees are expected to:
- attend up to ten meetings a year plus an Annual General Meeting;
- contribute advice and support on an ad hoc basis; and
- attend events.
The Board of Trustees currently meet every 6 weeks, on a Wednesday from 6pm-7.30pm.
