We are looking for an outstanding leader to join us as Chief Executive Officer to build on the success of our members in protecting their employees from domestic abuse. We are currently reaching over 6 million employees and this is a unique opportunity to work with some of the UK’s largest employers, partners and supporters to grow the employer response to domestic abuse in the UK.
EIDA enables employers to take action on domestic abuse by raising awareness among employers and their employees, supporting those affected and providing support and education to help perpetrators stop.

As CEO, working closely with our Board, you will be responsible for promoting and influencing this national response to domestic abuse. You will encourage employers to do more to support their people in their workplaces and communities.
Are you someone with proven experience of strategic leadership? Are you commercially astute and a natural fundraiser? Do you understand how to effectively bridge the needs of private and non-profit sectors? These skills will be essential in your role as EIDA CEO as you deliver on our established strategy for achieving growth in our reach and impact. You will need the ability to promote the business case for employer action on domestic abuse and secure funds for EIDA’s ongoing development. Your strong business acumen and hands on, practical approach will be invaluable as you develop a financially sustainable business model for our organisation.
You will be experienced in business and an enthusiastic network builder who has tried and tested communication and relationship building skills. As well as being adept at engaging people at all levels, you will be a convincing partner and influencer at C-suite executive level across private, public and third sectors. Your dynamic and creative leadership will motivate staff, members, partners and supporters to join our mission.

We offer flexibility in how we work, a competitive salary, 25 days holiday and pension pro rata (employer contribution 5%).

Location - Mostly based in central London, though, for the right individual, we will consider remote working from anywhere in the UK if you are willing to travel.
Support - EIDA’s Board is currently supported by a small team of part-time remote workers and volunteers which we anticipate will need to be increased as funds allow.
