Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Hate Crime Reporting Coordinator. As Hate Crimes are still under reported, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in increasing awareness of Hate Crime in Barnet and working on a multi-agency basis to coordinate community awareness raising events, ensuring residents, statutory and voluntary organisations, and others are informed about Hate Crime and know how to report it.
This role requires community engagement, delivering staff training workshops, monitoring and reporting hate crime data, and a commitment to a victim-centred approach.
The post is funded by MOPAC
Key Responsibilities:
· Engage with residents and diverse communities, including disabled people, LGBTQ+ groups, and Gypsy Roma Traveller groups to raise awareness about reporting hate crime.
· Coordinate communications and community events to raise awareness of Hate Crime and encourage reporting.
· Organise and conduct workshops and forums for diverse community groups.
· Train staff and volunteers to identify hate crime and support clients to report incidents to the Police.
· Monitor national and local hate crime data, including incidents recorded by Barnet Hate Crime Reporting Centres and produce quarterly reports of the work to tackle Hate crime in Barnet
· Support victims to report hate crimes and incidents to the Police and signpost to relevant support organisations.
· Support Barnet’s network of Hate Crime Reporting Centres including co-ordinated communications and staff training.
· Develop Barnet’s Safe Places Scheme for people with learning disabilities, autistic adults and adults-at-risk.

At St Mungo’s we have a locum bank of approximately 320 casual workers who provide temporary cover, ensuring our services can continue to run smoothly when there are staffing gaps.
We are looking for people who would be interested in joining our locum bank to work across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.
St Mungo’s runs a street outreach service and a number of supported accommodation projects in the region and our aim is to support people who may be affected by homelessness to recover from the effects of rough sleeping and move away from a street lifestyle permanently by providing them long term support.
Depending on your skills, expertise and preferences, you may be covering Outreach Worker shifts, where you engage with people who are on the streets sleeping rough, or Support Worker shifts in our accommodation services – this may be day or night.

What we can offer you

In order to provide you with ongoing support you will be allocated a supervising manager and you will have access to training to ensure you have the tools to keep our clients safe. We offer enhanced pay for bank holidays and you can also accrue holiday pay.

MAIN DUTIES

5.Managing the case allocation process including responsibility for ensuring cases are allocated in a timely way according to case deadlines.
6.Generating and sending out contracts and associated paperwork, and processing completed contracts for clients engaging in a paid service. Liaising with caseworkers for a smooth handover of the new case, ensuring that expectations are met and key deadlines understood by the caseworker.

FareShare South West is the region’s largest food redistribution charity. Purpose of role
FareShare South West’s (FSSW) fundraising need and strategy has developed and diversified rapidly in line with major growth since 2017. Trusts and Grants make up a significant percentage of FSSW’s annual fundraised income.
The Trusts and Grants Officer (TO) will be responsible for managing our portfolio of small grants (up to £15k) alongside supporting larger grant applications where appropriate. This involves researching available funding opportunities, maintaining a prospect list and applying to relevant opportunities. The TO will work with the Fundraising Manager (FM) to create compelling fundraising applications for both core funding and specific projects. They will be responsible for the stewardship of their funders, ensuring that they meet reporting guidelines, share impact data appropriately and keep funders updated of any project changes.
This role will suit an individual with excellent writing skills looking to develop their skills in the charity sector. About the role:
We are recruiting Triage and Early Intervention Officers on a part time basis. You will be supporting people on the telephone, by text or email from a variety of different backgrounds, all with different experiences. No two days are the same & you will need to use your communication skills and resilient nature to help those dealing with trauma and the effects of crime, who may have gone through a life-changing experience. Previous experience is not required as you will receive robust training prior to working directly with clients. You will also receive ongoing support to ensure that you can provide victims with quick responses to meet their needs and help them cope and recover.
These roles are based in our Essex office in Ingatestone. There may be an option to split the work between home and the office. You will be working within a supportive team that is part of a large independent charity which offers the opportunity to develop skills to enhance your ongoing personal development.

Turkish Speaking Mental Wellbeing Officer
Fixed Term: 12 Months

This exciting Project Officer role will support the delivery of mental health initiatives throughout Haringey, the role has previously been successfully delivered by an extremely committed officer who now is moving on to other opportunities within TCCA. The project has now been running for over two years and over that time has delivered 28 one-off initiatives, that have supported Turkish Speakers living in Haringey to deal with their Mental well-being, the post has now been funded for an additional year.
The Project Officer will work closely with other members of the Haringey Mental Health working group, which will consider other joint working initiatives. Within TCCA, the officer will deliver one major activity a month such as a mental Health Exhibition and Workshop on Isolation. The officer will provide weekly, mental advice, support, and signposting for those experiencing issues with Mental well-being.

The position is based at our Lewes Crown Court office, working 15 hours per week Thursday and Friday 9am to 5pm. Hybrid working meaning 1 day office based and 1 day home based.
As a Young Witness Service Caseworker you will be:
- Supporting child and young person witnesses and victims of crime by providing information along with practical & emotional help

- Case management and updating databases in line with GDPR & safeguarding regulations

Apprentice Plant Maintenance Engineer
Operations and Engineering, Haverhill, Suffolk
As we build our Haverhill Pilot Plant we are looking to hire an apprentice Plant Maintenance Engineer to join and learn within our growing team.
Your main duties will include:
- Supporting the Plant Engineer on maintenance, installations.
- Monitoring and commissions systems.
- Supporting the Plant Engineer on designing and implementing equipment modifications to help improve process improvements.
You will also be helping out the Manufacturing Engineering Department/ Pilot Plant Team.
The training you will be getting
- The learner will be studying the Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
- Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.
- Training method and location to be confirmed.
