This role combines project and relationship management with hands-on facilitation of activities for young people.
Envision offers high-quality enrichment programmes in inner-city schools. We support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop confidence and skills by empowering them to tackle social problems that they care about.
Our senior Community-Apprentice Programme (for year 12 pupils) engages teams of young people in a 10-month programme designed to develop their confidence and skills through empowering them to tackle a social problem that matters to them.
You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of the programme in five schools. You’ll hone your facilitation skills in weekly group activities for all your teams along with workshops delivered with volunteers from our partner business.
You’ll take the lead in organising cross-school events, ensuring that they inspire young people to explore issues and develop techniques to run successful campaigns. Your excellent organisation skills will come to the fore organising three cross-school challenges throughout the year. As well as working directly with young people and volunteers, you will manage relationships with the business partners supporting your schools and link teachers.
You’ll relish responsibility and want to take ownership of your project, whilst enjoying being part of a supportive network of peers doing similar roles across three cities.
