The organisation ensures that London’s most vulnerable people have meaningful choice and control over what happens in their lives. They support people living with mental health conditions, eating disorders, learning disabilities, and dementia. They work with all age groups, including children and young people, adults, and older people. Their services include one-to-one advocacy, group advocacy, and user involvement and engagement.

This role is offered on a flexible, part-time (0.8 FTE) permanent contract, with a salary of £49,200–£53,300 per annum (pro rata), alongside flexible remote working arrangements between home and their London sites.

As part of the senior leadership team, the post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering an income generation strategy and achieving income growth across multiple streams, including commercial income, grants, and statutory funding. They will be hands-on, actively engaging in applications, prospecting, communication, and developing new income opportunities. They will build strong relationships with staff, volunteers, and service users, and will have the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and develop external partnerships. The post holder will also develop evidence-based, impact-led cases for support across a range of projects.

They are seeking someone with demonstrable experience of delivering impactful charitable fundraising across diverse income streams, particularly from trusts and foundations. Candidates should have proven experience in developing pipelines, bid writing, and a track record of securing significant funding. The ideal candidate will also have experience in designing and delivering commercial income streams, including business-to-business and direct-to-consumer products.

About the Service

For over twenty years, Barnardo's LINK has delivered high-quality post adoption support to children and families. Our work supports prospective adopters, adoptive families, children and young people, birth family relatives, and families funded via the Adoption Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF).

We also have well established contracts with Health and Local Authority Commissioners offering short term therapeutic intervention to support families affected by mental health. To deliver the service we work with a network of independent therapists across England, offering both virtual and face-to-face therapeutic and parenting support.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Partnerships and Advocacy Manager to strengthen The Politics Project’s influencing and partnerships work, with a focus on Democracy Classroom - a non-partisan network of organisations across the youth, education and democracy sectors. You’ll lead the implementation of the new Democracy Classroom strategy, and grow the network’s impact and reach in the build up to the next general election and the implementation of votes at 16.

You will play a central role in expanding and activating the network - supporting over 100 partner organisations to collaborate effectively, share learning, build trust and increase their collective impact. You will be a key player in keeping the sector informed, connected and ready to respond to key moments in democratic engagement, from elections to policy changes.

You will take on a highly relational role, working closely with the team to manage and nurture a complex network blending multiple sectors. You will collaborate with the Director to manage shared relationships across the Democracy Classroom network, building more ownership over time. You’ll help position Democracy Classroom as an important conduit between the sector and major stakeholders like government departments and funders.

This is a dynamic, outward-facing role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on coordination. You’ll work closely with the Head of Communications and Networks, the Democracy Classroom Programme Coordinator and colleagues across The Politics Project to make sure partners feel supported, valued and part of a shared mission.

The Politics Project is based in London, and the post holder will be expected to work from the office at least two days a week. The role may require occasional UK travel and some evening/weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given. The role has a six-month probation period. Partnership management

• Build, nurture and deepen relationships with more than 100 civil society partners, helping each partner see themselves as part of a growing and collaborative sector.

The Policy and Advocacy team within Womankind influences a transformative, feminist agenda for change in solidarity with movement partners and allies. PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Qualification and training:

• A post-graduate qualification in a relevant social sciences field e.g. international development or legal studies, human rights, gender studies, or equivalent experience.

Essential Experience:

• At least 5 years’ experience in the women’s rights and feminist sectors with demonstrable capabilities in strategic, partner-centred, evidence-based, decolonial feminist advocacy leadership in UK and Global Advocacy spaces.

• In-depth knowledge on core women’s rights normative standards and intersectional feminist principles that guide policy and influencing work within the UK and globally. This includes how diverse women’s rights thematic areas intersect and how this is integrated into strategic influencing and advocacy.

• Astute networking skills and ability to successfully build and leverage relationships with diverse partners, allies, government officials and intergovernmental bodies for strategic advocacy and influencing.

• Proven track record in leading/driving knowledge production from a decolonial feminist lens including research reports, and policy briefs.

• Country specific expertise in executing partner advocacy needs and learning and exchange opportunities linked to diverse women and girls in local, transnational, and cross-continental contexts.

• Sound programme management skills including demonstrable experience in advocacy related MERL, annual planning and budgeting.

Job Summary
Sitting within the Product Management Team, the Dynamics 365 (CRM) Product Manager is responsible for the Dynamics 365 and Microsoft product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure revenue and product optimisation goals are met. The Product Manager’s job involves ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals. 

Forming and managing effective relationships with key business stakeholders, in particular Business Owners, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers and IT Leads. Work with stakeholders to deliver the Product Roadmap by producing clear and manageable roadmaps and backlogs for delivery and communication.

Experienced in product management and agile methodologies you bring stakeholders together to solve problems and optimise product capabilities to enable the business to reach their strategic and operational objectives. We are looking for a self-motivated Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager to join our team, taking a leading role in shaping and delivering Leukaemia UK’s influencing and campaigning activity to drive policy change. The Centre for Long-Term Resilience is looking for a full-time Strategic Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager with knowledge of CLTR's areas of policy focus (AI safety and biosecurity) and with strong fluency in the conventions, expectations, and writing styles of philanthropic funders focused on extreme risks.

The Strategic Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager will play a central role in CLTR’s Fundraising Unit, holding day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of significant funder partnerships and prospects, and supporting the organisation's long-term fundraising strategy. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent relationship management and project management skills, outstanding written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment. 

The role works closely with CLTR's policy unit leads, who are responsible for accuracy of programme content in fundraising materials and, where needed, providing direction on content and structure based on their own knowledge of specific donor preferences. 

What You'll Do

• Hold day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of funder relationships, maintaining an up-to-date picture of each funder's priorities, renewal timelines, and grant spend down for discussion with CLTR’s Strategic Partnerships and Philanthropy Lead, CEO and policy unit leads.

• Project manage the delivery of donor-facing materials, including complex proposals, reports, and updates. This involves working in close partnership with policy units to agree on a structure, gathering relevant content, ensuring the framing of policy work is reflected appropriately (and contributing to this framing through donor-specific intelligence and relationship insight), coordinating with external contractors for strategic writing support, and enabling policy unit involvement throughout this process. 

• Coordinate with our finance team on proposal budgets for major funding bids, ensuring asks are financially robust and aligned with organisational planning.

• Track and communicate proposal and reporting timelines, ensuring clarity around deadlines and required inputs.

• Conduct research on donors and prospects and help to build a pipeline of donors interested in funding work in the extreme risks space, working with senior stakeholders to identify relationship entry points and brief policy units to prepare for meetings.

Location and Travel Requirements

Flexible location within the UK, with the expectation of attending our central London office once a week, on Mondays. We may be open to exploring fully remote working arrangements in exceptional circumstances for a limited period of time.
