The Locality Manager role:
- Ensure personalised support is delivered that reflects the needs, wishes and aspirations of the people we support through person-centred care plans and health action plans that are regularly reviewed and implemented.
- Ensure person-centred care plans and health action plans are regularly reviewed and implemented.
- Ensure the health and wellbeing of the people we support, in line with CQC Guidelines and Discovery' policies.
- Deliver effective risk assessments and emergency plans to ensure the people we support are safe.
- Make sure your team are appropriately trained and motivated to provide high quality support.
- Ensure the service meets all organisational and statutory requirements and complies with CQC Guidelines and our own standards, policies and procedures.
- Make sure complaints are dealt with in line with our policies.
- Accountable for the budget and finance for the Locality.
- Able to support the organisation to grow the business.
- Develop local connections and partnerships to meet people we support be involved and engaged within their community.
About you
Most importantly, you want to make a difference to the lives of people we support with learning disabilities or autism. To do that, you’ll have:
- A strong background in working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the personalisation agenda and Active Support model.
- Completed, or keen to undertake, Management Development training.

Summary
The Business Partnering Manager is responsible for ensuring an excellent business partnering across the charity by understanding organisational needs, setting standards, seeking feedback, and coaching the business partnering team - ultimately ensuring that the Diabetes UK strategic objectives are achieved.

The charity recently invested in a new cloud-based finance system so you would be closely involved in developing our use of the latest tools, including Power BI to improve the business partnering support we provide to the charity.

Main Responsibilities
The Business Partnering manager plays a critical role managing the budgeting & forecasting work across Diabetes UK ultimately, working closely with the Head of Finance & senior stakeholders, to ensure that we deliver our vision in a sustainable way.
You would be leading a team of five business partners and empowering them to add value the Directorates they work with to enhance the work Diabetes UK caries out. Working with your team you will look at ways to improve our reporting and build financial capability and confidence across the charity.
The Business Partnering manager also supports the Research Directorate so you would be working with colleagues to support our ground breaking research work and reporting on progress to external funders.

Room to Heal is a human rights charity and therapeutic community based in London. Our mission is to support people who have survived or witnessed torture and organised violence to rebuild their lives in exile, through an integrated programme of therapeutic and casework assistance. We offer a range of activities including: therapy groups, gardening and food-growing, individual therapy and casework, theatre workshops, cooking and social gatherings, and therapeutic retreats.
At the heart of our work lies the cultivation of community, through which our members can restore meaningful relationships with themselves and others, overcome the legacy of their traumatic experiences and integrate into the UK. Our community is currently made up of over 100 members from over 30 countries: including former political prisoners; people who have been persecuted on account of their sexuality or religious belief; and those who have escaped trafficking.
About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team and lead our fundraising efforts. This is a key role in ensuring we have the resources to continue providing vital support to survivors of torture and human rights violations. As the Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, building relationships with key donors, and exceeding fundraising goals. We are predominantly funded by Trusts and Foundations and you will play a very important role in maintaining and expanding this funder base, as well as helping Room to Heal to diversify our income streams.

About the Role
MSI Reproductive Choices (MSI) is one of the 20 largest charities in the UK; providing family planning & safe abortion services across the globe. MSI operates as a social enterprise, and revenues are split between donor income and revenue from clients that receive our services.
The Global Accounting Team is responsible for core financial accounting, producing consolidated global financial information and preparing the group management accounts, group statutory accounts and Global Support Office management accounts
MSI receives substantial amounts (> £160m p.a.) of funding from a variety of governmental and private donors (including DFID, USAID and Gates Foundation) for its international family planning activities in 37 countries around the world. The following experience is desirable but not necessary:
- A degree in a numerate subject and/or professional finance qualification.
- Studying towards an accountancy qualification – CIMA / ACCA / ACA / ICAEW
- Certified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

- Daily cashbook management of multiple bank accounts using Excel functions
- Administration of purchase and sales ledgers and PO system
- Preparation of biweekly payment runs
