Job Description

Experienced and creative Events & Marketing Manager required who will be key to raising the profile of The Salvation Army and promoting the facilities it has available for event hire in the centre of London.  This interesting and challenging post has been created as we seek to grow and develop our church and centre which currently comprises a membership of over 250, a Café, Bookshop and other meeting rooms for hire. When not required for worship and other church activities there is an opportunity for the Events and Marketing Manager to substantially increase the income raised through hire of our 550 seat hall following a major project to upgrade the technical facilities including new PA, audio visual and lighting facilities with improved acoustic performance.  The post holder will also have the drive, experience and skills to effectively support the church in organising and hosting its own Christian outreach events and activities to ensure that Regent Hall is a busy and vibrant centre throughout the week. The Events and Marketing Manager will work alongside church leadership and staff to promote all the activities that take place and will develop an ongoing and varied programme of marketing with the use of the church website and social media platforms as an integral part of the marketing strategy.
