Job DescriptionEden Brown are delighted to be able to offer an exciting opportunity to join a well-loved, local Children's Charity as Events and Sponsorship Manager. Based in Leeds General Infirmary working in a permanent, full-time capacity we are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced individual to contribute to the charity's income generation plans. As Events and Sponsorship manager you will be responsible for organising and marketing high profile events. As well as having responsibility for delivering a range of events you will be responsible for seeking out sponsorship opportunities from corporate companies both in the local community and nationwide.
Key responsibilities include;
-To work with the marketing team to provide innovative print/ online marketing for events and work collaboratively with the marketing team to ensure that deadlines are met
-To organise and set targets, aims and objectives for each event
-To develop effective working relationships across the charity
-To carry out weekly visits to meet families on the ward and ensure that they are aware of any events taking place and advise them on how they can get involved
-To liaise with a number of organisations to secure sponsorship
To be considered for this fantastic role:
- You will have at least 4 years fundraising experience in events, community or corporate fundraising.
- A proven track record in organising a range of events.
- Proven experience of managing events and volunteers.
- A track record in working to and achieving financial targets
