Job DescriptionOur client, a large membership organisation supporting the medical profession, is looking to recruit an excellent Executive Assistant to work closely with their Boards to support, coordinate and develop its various activities as well as focus on events, communications and projects.
The post holder will work closely with the Executive Officers and other Board Members to provide the smooth running of the Board and constituent societies by taking responsibility for a plethora of duties. These will include everything from day to day engagement with the Members such as handling expenses to the preparation of papers and agendas through to assisting with the logistics and communications around the busy portfolio of meetings. The role is also tasked with maintaining the database and website and leading on the editorial quality of communications and will be called upon to assist in other ad hoc development projects as the role develops.
The right candidate will have an exemplary track record of providing administrative support to senior stakeholders and will be versed in minutes, preparation of papers and agendas and meeting logistics. They will also be comfortable in their writing and utilising a strong editorial ability in delivering messages through websites and membership communications and ideally would have design, publication and website experience. With a high level of initiative and creativity they will have demonstrable experience in building robust relationships and enjoy facilitating engagement including at events.
