Brighton and Hove (On-site)
£31,000 per year
Permanent, Full-time
Job description

To ensure the most efficient use of Extratime’s resources, we prioritise high value fundraising. The main focus of this role will be to support the Fundraising Manager by writing high quality, targeted funding applications to a range of charitable trusts and foundations and other grant making bodies, including local authorities. There may also be times when you will be required to respond to other fundraising opportunities that arise (e.g. major donors, corporate or community fundraising or events).

The post holder will work with the Fundraising Manager to write successful funding applications, manage reporting requirements and respond to all enquiries accurately and efficiently. We are seeking someone with considerable experience in trusts and foundations fundraising, a passion for writing, and an interest in improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families in Brighton & Hove and West Sussex.

This exciting new role is being introduced to build capacity within the team, initially to maintain momentum and income generation during our Fundraising Manager’s maternity leave, then working alongside the Fundraising Manager from year 2 to grow income and help Extratime achieve ambitious goals for the future.
