Do you want to use your marketing skills to inspire change in health and social care? The UK has a huge shortfall in specialist digital skills and you could help us bridge the gap.
The Faculty of Clinical Informatics is a young and dynamic organisation, focused on giving professional leadership to clinical informaticians across the UK. We’ve already recruited 1,000 members from many disciplines, all are health and social care professionals who use their specialist knowledge through data, information and information technology, to ensure safe, effective and efficient person-centred care. Through our influence and the expertise of our members we have a pivotal role in providing guidance on the commissioning, design, development and delivery of health and care information systems to benefit patients and system users.
We have created this new role of Marketing Manager as we rapidly expand our work, with the aim of boosting the number of people with these much needed skills and supporting comprehensive training and development. We’re aiming to double our membership by 2025 and diversify our income generation into new areas, including events, sponsorship and learning resources.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and deliver our marketing strategy and to establish a digital marketing programme. You will be adept at multi-tasking, with the skills to lead our programme to attract new members and to retain our existing members. You will also help us to market effectively to our wide range of stakeholders, including funders. You will relish the opportunity to show your marketing experience and flair in creating new ways to connect with stakeholders through a variety of channels.
We are looking for a special person, used to working flexibly in a small team and with experience across the marketing mix. You’ll relish the challenge of uncovering insights from our data to deliver commercial success and enhance impact in our influence and voice. You will be equally at home leading on marketing strategy as you are focused on the delivery of the tactical detail.
In return you will have the opportunity to work for an organisation driven by purpose, values, passionate people and impact. The role offers blended working from our London office and at home.
