Job Description

Financial and Management Accountant

Fair Trials is an international human rights NGO, which exists to build respect for the right to a fair trial in criminal cases. We have grown gradually over the past five years and have an established track-record as a trusted voice on criminal justice. We have 16 staff across offices in London, Brussels and Washington DC, and are in the process of increasing the geographical reach of our work.

We are looking for a Full time or Part time (min 28 hours per week for part-time) Accountant with financial and management accounting experience to support the continuing development of the business regionally and globally.  Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, this will be an important role in ensuring

  • the integrity of financial accounting and financial processes across the charity,
  • the delivery of good quality financial information and analysis to management and the various trustee boards and funders, and
  • ongoing improvements in all aspects of finance for the organisation.
  • Good quality grant budgets and reporting are carried out.
