Summary
- Devise and implement a UK church engagement plan, as agreed by RLN director.

Chell Perkins Ltd are looking for FOUR people who are passionate about bringing positive change through fundraising. We want to nurture a new generation of fundraisers to provide charities with access to exceptional fundraising support.
We offer a four-month/16 week fully paid traineeship (approx £1,700pm gross) working with real clients in a fundraising consultancy and gaining a recognised certificate with education credits towards CFRE to give you a real headstart in working in the charity sector. There are a number of vacancies at Chell Perkins, and at the end of the course trainees will be eligible to apply for a permanent position.
This immersive programme starts on 2nd September 2024 and is home-based, with high-quality training and plenty of support from our experienced fundraising team.

The Diocese of London (LDF) is seeking a Project Manager - Transforming Southall and Hounslow to play a key role within the strategic 2023 Vision team and Willesden team, based from St Johns, Southall.
Introduction
The Project Manager - Transforming Southall and Hounslow is an exciting initiative that seeks to see church growth within a diverse and complex multi-ethnic, multi-religious area. We anticipate that growth will be evident in the planting of fifteen new congregations with significant numbers of new Christians, a growing depth of discipleship across the thirteen parishes and in tangible signs of both personal and social impact.
Crucially this project will sit under a Bishop’s Mission Order, led by the Bishop of Willesden, and seeks to resource the leadership potential of at least sixty lay leaders from mainly South Asian and African/African-Caribbean heritage backgrounds.
The Project Manager’s prime focus will be to enable and ensure the vision of the mission area becomes a reality. We are seeking a highly effective manager of change who has an abiding passion to see others flourish, and can provide administrative oversight, compliance, co-ordination and communication support to the Transforming Southall and North Hounslow Team to ensure that we equip, resource and support the mission area, including its clergy, lay leaders, volunteers, and parishes.
Main Responsibilities
The Project Manager will have experience of overseeing change and working with multiple stakeholders. They will be emotionally intelligent and capable of being adaptable when circumstances change and where context demands a different approach. They will have both a high level perspective and a strong attention to detail, with experience of leading and enabling others to deliver their goals.
Core responsibilities:
- Establishing project management systems and processes
- Overseeing the administrative leadership of the project
- Building good relationships with all thirteen parishes
- Resourcing and enabling the core team of mission lead, planting enablers and administrators

Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) is a national Christian charity working in partnership with local churches to give struggling children hope and a future.
Building on the huge success of TLG Early Intervention Coaching, TLG Therapeutic Support will be a new way for TLG, with partner churches, to provide support in school for the increasing number of pupils struggling to cope due to their emotional, relational, and mental health experiences.
In this role we are looking for an individual that thrives working with children and young people in a school context and is passionate about supporting pupils and their families struggling with emotional, relational, and mental health challenges. This role requires a formal counselling qualification or at least evidence of notable progress on the journey to attaining a counselling qualification. The TLG Therapeutic Counsellor will be present each week in the school, providing specialist trauma aware care for these children, whilst supporting staff and parents too.

We have a thriving music programme with over 100 children singing in three choirs weekly, and we are active in our service to the community. The successful candidate will work closely with the Vicar of St John the Divine to ensure the strategic priorities of the St John the Divine Resourcing Church network – currently St John the Divine Kennington, St Faith’s North Dulwich, and the Korean congregation at St James’ Malden – are delivered. At All Ways Network (AWN), we are dedicated to radically changing the grant making sector and removing barriers to grant funding for small not for profits supporting the Muslim community in the UK.
Each year, as well as facilitating and delivering funders information sessions for NFPs either online or via our flagship event, Meet the Funders, our trustees and staff team focus on removing barriers to funding for NFPs more generally. AWN is driving improvements to grant making processes and infrastructure and standards across the UK.
As Operations Manager at AWN, you will play a vital role in managing and developing the operational business functions of the organisation to support the successful expression of All Ways Network’s (AWN) charitable aims. You will support the Board of Trustees in leading the charity and its staff, building relationships with stakeholders, and developing and implementing our long-term strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Trustees to deliver and improve AWN’s strategic planning, annual operational planning, and budgeting process and ensure our vision and mission are effectively translated into operational goals and initiatives.
- Work closely with the Treasurer to manage the allocation of resources and oversee budgeting, fundraising and grant management.
- Lead on aspects of our HR function with the support of trustees, taking charge of our recruitment, personnel development and staff support.
- Maintain effective internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and manage organisational risks effectively.
- Support the Board of Trustees to maintain effective governance.
- Support the team to develop and manage impactful partnerships and stakeholder relationships, providing strategic advice on project delivery and ensuring our partnership arrangements are well planned and managed with care.
- Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility, goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.
- Attend events outside office hours and weekends where necessary.

The Role
In this role, you'll ensure supporters, volunteers and staff receive timely and effective support. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining the database and processing supporter donations, including direct debits, standing orders and bank payment files, with the utmost accuracy and adherence to GDPR policies.
Your main responsibilities will include entering new supporter information into the database, maintaining supporter records, reconciling donations and managing data imports.
You'll also process Gift Aid declarations and claims, handle direct debits, standing orders and other payments, and maintain subscription schemes. Additionally, you'll assist in handling incoming mail, processing orders and addressing complaints and feedback with empathy and professionalism.

About You
You will have administrative experience preferably within a supporter or customer finance environment, managing Gift Aid is desirable.

The Role
You'll handle inquiries, appeals and products, maintain supporter records and deliver outstanding service via email, telephone and letters. With your confident and accurate use of the Customer Relationship Management system, you'll ensure accurate data entry and process credit card donations in line with GDPR rules.
In addition to administrative tasks, this role involves supporting the charity’s mission and work in all interactions. You’ll have the opportunity to pray with supporters over the telephone and you'll support staff by managing travel bookings and serving as an information hub.
