Are you highly organised, great with people and confident working with CRM systems? Do you have excellent attention to detail and enjoy improving processes, data quality and reporting? 

This is an exciting, varied and hands-on role combining supporter stewardship, CRM management, reporting and insight. You’ll play a key role in ensuring supporters receive excellent care and stewardship, while taking ownership of CRM data quality, reporting and continuous improvement across our systems. 

Reporting to the Fundraising Lead, you’ll support the development of our CRM, maintain high standards of data quality, producing clear reporting and insight, and help improve how we use data across the organisation. You’ll play a key role in future CRM developments. 

As part of a small but growing team, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, so the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively is essential.

Wednesdays are a regular team day in Peterborough and are a key part of how we work together. We usually work in person around two days per week, with flexibility on the rest of the pattern.

TECHNICAL OPERATIONS ANALYST

Hands-on technical role with Scripture Union, helping the church share Jesus with the next generation.

Scripture Union is a national mission-movement creating opportunities for children and young people to explore the Bible, respond to Jesus and grow in faith. Working through churches, Mission Enablers and a growing network of Faith Guides, Scripture Union supports local people on the ground to connect with the next generation in ways that make faith real.

Sitting within the Digital Solutions team, the Technical Operations Analyst makes sure the technology that underpins the movement works as it should. You’ll be the day-to-day operator of the Microsoft tech stack, the first port of call for staff and volunteer tech queries, and the bridge between Scripture Union and its third-party technology partners.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Own and improve our core digital platforms, keeping cloud services, collaboration tools and file sharing running smoothly
• Be the friendly first point of support, helping staff and volunteers solve issues quickly across systems, websites and apps
• Work hands-on with partners and suppliers to resolve problems and keep services reliable and responsive
• Help shape smarter digital solutions, contributing to low‑code tools, databases and key third‑party systems
• Play a full part in the life of Scripture Union, supporting secure, compliant systems while collaborating closely with the Digital Solutions team

This role is ideal for someone with a strong grounding in the Microsoft tech stack, a calm and methodical approach to problem solving, and the patience to translate technical concepts for non-technical colleagues.

GRANTS MANAGER 
 
£45,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Laing Family Trusts are a group of four grant-making trusts which provide funding for a wide range of charities engaged in promoting Christian faith and values and in the relief of poverty both in the UK and overseas.

The Trusts are going through an exciting time of transition, with changes in our staff team, new Trustees, a planned move to a new database which will facilitate the introduction of online processes, and the launch of exciting new funding programmes – Constructive Pioneers, encouraging science and engineering innovation in the built environment, and a place-based programme on the Isle of Wight-, all contributing to the organisation’s growth as we prepare for the future. The Grants Manager role will be a crucial support to these developments. 

This is an excellent opportunity to gain meaningful experience and use your knowledge of the voluntary sector in a small but busy and friendly environment, supporting charities helping those in need.

The successful candidate will be actively involved in the delivery of all aspects of the grant-making process, including research and identification of potential grantees, assessment (including site visits), participation in decision-making, grant offers, monitoring and evaluation. Ability to use your initiative and flexibility are essential for this role. Could this be you?

Fulwood Free Methodist Church exists to be a loving and welcoming community of people who follow Jesus and aim to make Him known. Established 48 years ago, the church has grown to around 400 people across three Sunday services, with youth and children’s work, a network of 20 homegroups, and community ministries including Toddlers, Lunch Break café, Inspiration Crafts, Alpha and a CAP Centre.

Working in partnership with the Co-Lead Pastor for Teaching & Leadership Development, the new Co-Lead Pastor will provide spiritual leadership, lead and inspire the staff team, and drive community outreach, pastoral care and young adults ministry. This is a genuine co-leadership model built on collaboration, shared decision-making and mutual support.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Share spiritual and strategic leadership with the Co-Lead Pastor and Trustees
• Lead and develop the staff team, fostering a collaborative and growing culture
• Inspire and lead evangelism and outreach to a fast-growing local community
• Oversee pastoral care, building and supporting a team of lay pastoral carers
• Develop young adult ministry, homegroups, and help shape plans for future church planting

This role is ideal for an ordained pastor (or someone eligible for ordination) with proven experience in pastoral leadership, a passion for evangelism, and a heart for shared, collaborative ministry. While Fulwood Free Methodist Church is rooted in Wesleyan Arminian theology, applicants do not need to come from a Methodist background, provided they are fully aligned with this theological position.
