Stewardship has a mission to activate giving, making it joyful and easy – helping Christians support the causes they love, right when they need it. Our givers tell us that they manage almost all of their finances through apps, so why shouldn’t their giving be managed through an app too? Our users love our MVP single-platform Giving app, but we need to rebuild and scale in cross-platform to become production-ready. We also need to build a range of other MVP apps to serve other types of givers and partners, so there’s lots to do!

Our Individual Partnership programme provides those called to Christian ministry with an account to manage financial support and tools and training to be effective in raising and maintaining a team of supporters.
As the Support Raising Development Lead within the Individual Partnerships team, your role is to train, coach and develop best practice and thought leadership for individuals and organisations who adopt the Support Raising model.

We are a multi-award-winning, creative, and innovative organisation, and the Database Officer is a role at Al-Khair Foundation, sitting within the Database team and delivering on a range of database tasks and processes utilising our Salesforce database. We’re looking for someone who has a good working knowledge of database systems and who understands their importance to organisations like Al-Khair Foundation. We seek someone who is naturally process-driven and has a great eye for detail. You will be responsible for specific monthly processes, such as organisation income reconciliation and ongoing data uploads and cleansing for the Fundraising teams. You will also become a champion for Salesforce and understand the importance of CRM to help Al-Khair Foundation achieve our goals and provide a better service to our donors, supporters, and participants.
Your Role
Al-Khair Foundation uses Salesforce to manage relationships with our donors, supporters, and stakeholders, including recording all donations made to the organisation. Al-Khair Foundation’s Database Officer will be responsible for the monthly delivery of the income and data reconciliation processes for the Fundraising teams, which includes liaising with a wide range of external agencies and the website to successfully download and query files, update and create new supporter records on the database, process cheques and payment requests, and work closely with the Finance team to ensure all anticipated and banked income tallies correctly.
You will also work closely with colleagues in the Database team to support and maintain regular database processes, data cleansing, and other database-related functions that happen on a monthly or quarterly basis. This may include responding to and being responsible for Support Ticket queries in relation to income, data, and/or the database generally and working with external database agencies such as our web platform partners and Salesforce.
Aside from these core duties, from time to time, you may also carry out general administrative tasks on behalf of the Supporter Engagement team. This may include supporting the Supporter Care Assistant during busy periods with customer care via email and telephone and recording updates, processing invoices, and maintaining and updating team rotas and trackers.
Your Responsibilities
- Delivering the monthly data reconciliation and income reconciliation processes, which include downloading and uploading data files.
- Supporting the Fundraising teams with their monthly income recording and reconciliation.
- Liaising with external agencies and the Finance team.
- Checking for and correcting inaccuracies and updating supporter records.
- Running reports for the Fundraising and Finance teams.
- Maintaining and carrying out regular database processes, including data cleansing.
- Supporting the Database Coordinator and the Senior Data Manager to encourage best-practice use of the database across the organisation, including assisting with onboarding and new user training and being on hand for day-to-day technical support when the Database Coordinator is unavailable.
- Working with external partners (i.e., telemarketing agencies) to ensure the successful and smooth transition of data onto the database.
- Spotting and reporting database glitches and problems.
- Supporting with the ticketing system as a second point of contact in the Database team.
- Contributing to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant with Al-Khair Foundation’s Child Safeguarding and Adults at Risk Policies.

Key Responsibilities
Philanthropy Events
- Work closely with team members to organise and manage the logistics for our major and mid-level donor event programme, comprising around 4-5 events a year, including the Rooftop Summer Drinks Party and November Private Dinner.
- Event management will include liaising with venue managers and suppliers both in the run up and during the event
- Work with the Philanthropy Executive to project manage on cross-income stream events, including sponsored challenge events such as the Impetus Triathlon, and Christmas Celebration Drinks.
Events Communication
- Support the Philanthropy team in putting together relevant event-related comms to all donors as required

Introduction
The Project Manager - Transforming Southall and Hounslow is an exciting initiative that seeks to see church growth within a diverse and complex multi-ethnic, multi-religious area. We anticipate that growth will be evident in the planting of fifteen new congregations with significant numbers of new Christians, a growing depth of discipleship across the thirteen parishes and in tangible signs of both personal and social impact.
Crucially this project will sit under a Bishop’s Mission Order, led by the Bishop of Willesden, and seeks to resource the leadership potential of at least sixty lay leaders from mainly South Asian and African/African-Caribbean heritage backgrounds.
The Project Manager’s prime focus will be to enable and ensure the vision of the mission area becomes a reality. We are seeking a highly effective manager of change who has an abiding passion to see others flourish, and can provide administrative oversight, compliance, co-ordination and communication support to the Transforming Southall and North Hounslow Team to ensure that we equip, resource and support the mission area, including its clergy, lay leaders, volunteers, and parishes.
Main Responsibilities
The Project Manager will have experience of overseeing change and working with multiple stakeholders. They will be emotionally intelligent and capable of being adaptable when circumstances change and where context demands a different approach. They will have both a high level perspective and a strong attention to detail, with experience of leading and enabling others to deliver their goals.

As Safeguarding Lead, you will implement the model with a designated group of dioceses and cathedrals on a pilot basis. Subsequently, you will support the roll-out of the model across the Church to onboard dioceses and cathedrals that were not involved in the pilot. You will also provide the ongoing support to a specific group of dioceses and cathedrals.
Northern Region Safeguarding Lead (hybrid work arrangement) You will work with individual dioceses and cathedrals in the North of England. This role offers hybrid working options, working from home and from our office in Central London. This group of dioceses and cathedrals for the pilot includes Blackburn Cathedral, York Minster, the diocese of Newcastle, and both the Cathedral and diocese of Lincoln.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Working in partnership with a group of dioceses and cathedrals, the roles are responsible for co-ordinating and leading the operational implementation of the four work streams which comprise the overall IICSA Recommendations 1 & 8 and Regional Model Pilot Project:
1. IICSA Recommendation 1: the introduction and operation of the DSO (Diocese Safeguarding Officer) and the CSO (Cathedral Safeguarding Officer) roles, including the wider system changes required.
This will include the professional supervision and quality assurance of the work of the DSO/CSO roles, which will include:
Advice and guidance on individual cases and safeguarding-related situations and developments
Encouragement of curiosity about different hypotheses for understanding cases and safeguarding situations
Reflection on self, exploring what influences the CSO/DSO's perspectives and what impact safeguarding situations have on the CSO/DSO
Analysis, making connections with relevant research findings and theory
Quality assuring the work of the CSO/DSO, providing feedback and identifying professional development and support needs
[NB: A model of professional supervision has been selected and the Safeguarding Leads will be trained in the model].
2. Regional support model / Northern Region
For Regional Safeguarding Leads:
Development and piloting of a regional model of support
This will involve working with a cluster of dioceses and cathedrals collectively to enhance positive outcomes through, for example:
Joint working, sharing of resources and other mutual support arrangements
Joint commissioning of specific services
Peer auditing
Development of survivor engagement arrangements
Sharing of best practice
Group as well as individual supervision
Strengthening connections with other Church bodies and relevant services in the region
For Northern Safeguarding Leads:
Development and piloting of forms of support customised to the needs of individual dioceses and cathedrals
The Safeguarding Lead will be expected to promote creative approaches to practice development to achieve good safeguarding outcomes.
3. Quality Assurance development
Working with the Research and Evaluation Lead roles in the NST to support dioceses and cathedrals with the introduction and further development of the Church's draft national safeguarding standards and quality assurance framework. This will include contributing to the design of the independent auditing arrangements as required by IICSA Recommendation 8.
4. The safeguarding function and resource assessment
Clarifying the range of the safeguarding responsibilities of dioceses and cathedrals, what this means for different roles, and the structure and skill sets required for diocesan and cathedral safeguarding services. From this, developing an objective methodology for determining the resources that dioceses and cathedrals need to deliver safeguarding to a good standard.
5. Relationships with internal stakeholders in dioceses and cathedrals
The Safeguarding Lead will establish effective relationships with key stakeholders within the dioceses and cathedrals they are working with - in particular, their senior leadership teams and Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panels or equivalent in cathedrals. This will include providing evidence-based feedback in respect of the quality and capacity of safeguarding functions within the diocese and/or cathedral. This will highlight areas of strength, as well as areas needing development, including systemic vulnerabilities.
6. Relationship with external stakeholders
The Leadership teams of dioceses and cathedrals are responsible for the development of effective partnerships with external statutory and non-statutory bodies. The Safeguarding Lead will support the leadership teams within dioceses and cathedrals in the strengthening of relations with statutory and non-statutory organisations where necessary, including providing help to identify and remove obstacles to effective partnership working.
The roles will evolve during the course of the pilot stage.

Circumstances:
This role will include extensive national travel and the possibility that the locations you supervise may change as the pilot progresses into business as usual.
- A salary of £66,186 per annum plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of salary.

The aim is to grow a secondary school ministry by enhancing current relationships in schools and developing new ones. The individual should seek opportunities to collaborate with Christian teachers to help equip them in schools’ ministry and develop ministry through assemblies, Christian unions and other schools’ outreach within the Sevenoaks area, with an aim to draw students into further St. Nicholas ministries.

You will need to be able to facilitate effective conversations, especially in spaces with a wide and diverse audience with different interests and priorities. The ability to understand complex information and communicate it both orally and in writing with good attention to detail is also important for this role.
We require the post holder to have the ability to work independently with strong time management, organisational and planning skills. Proficient IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) is essential.
