The District Administrator is the first port of call in the District office and acts as an essential point of contact for all 19 Circuits and their Churches within the District.

The District Administrator will work collaboratively with the Senior District Administrator and be proactive with good organisational skills.

The role will provide administration support in a number of areas to support the Senior District Administrator, with emails, setting up meetings, maintaining records and databases.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for incoming emails, telephone calls and meeting and greeting visitors.
• Accurate and effective use of information management systems including general office filing, electronic file management, scanning, archiving, databases, other electronic records, spreadsheets and hard copy paper records, regularly updating as required.
• Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms.
• Assist with maintaining and updating the District Directory and databases.
• Assist with the administration for representative and presbyteral synod.
• Managing and ordering office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
• Maintaining office equipment, i.e. photocopiers and printers for smooth office functionality
• Communicate meetings and agendas to attendees. Take minutes when required and arrange lunches and refreshments.
• Assist with the management of the District Zoom accounts.
• Any other duties and responsibilities identified by the Chair and the Senior District Administrator as are within the capabilities and level of responsibility of the role in order to meet the needs of the District.

Terms and Conditions

• Location: This role is base at the MAF UK Offices in Folkestone, Kent.  We welcome hybrid working in line with our flexible working policy, the needs of the business, the requirements of the role and your location. This will be discussed at interview.

The Digital Content and Communications Officer (DCCO) reports to the Digital Communications Manager and has responsibility for the SAT-7 UK website, digital marketing and social media. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Website: Developing and updating SAT-7’s websites as inspiring platforms to raise profile, income and engagement.

Emails: Work with colleagues in the Communications Team and across the organisation to build, test and send responsive email templates for all SAT-7 UK’s email requirements (meeting SAT-7’s brand guidelines and conforming to industry standards). Use email marketing tool DotDigital to develop automated communications that strengthen supporter engagement and convert recipients into committed donors.

Content: Deliver engaging and inspiring rich media content across a range of digital channels, including web, email, social media and other digital marketing platforms. 

Social Media: Work closely with other team members to deliver strong social media content and engagement across various platforms, chiefly Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn.

Marketing: Support the digital marketing of SAT-7 resources and campaigns through social media advertising, external agencies and other channels as required, to engage more deeply with existing supporters and donors, acquire new supporters and to raise funds for SAT-7 UK.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• In all communication ensure consistent messaging, branding and tone of voice for the intended audience and that content conforms to the security and style guides.
• Use Customer Relationship Management systems to ensure efficient and secure storage of information.
• Assist members of the team in responding appropriately to communications from supporters and other organisations.
• Liaise with SAT-7 staff from other offices to share ideas and resources.
• Assist the Digital Communications Manager and represent SAT-7 UK at conferences and events as required.
• At all times operate within relevant statutory requirements and guidelines, following best practice recommendations wherever possible. Specially ensure compliance with the Fundraising Regulator and General Data Protection Regulations.

In this pivotal role of Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the management and successful delivery of all hard and soft facilities services across the Lambeth Palace estate.

The Role

• Ensure the Lambeth Palace estate is managed to the highest possible standard, ensuring all areas are well presented, safe, secure and compliant for all visitors, residents and staff alike.
• Review and regularly ensure all agreed security measures are in place and are communicated accordingly.
• Ensure all works undertaken across the Lambeth Palace estate are safely assessed and authorised before they are carried out.
• Review Health & Safety risk assessment submissions relating to operations and buildings, identifying and ensuring any corrective actions are completed.
• Work closely with the Hospitality Team to ensure events are assessed properly and robust H&S procedures are in place.
• Manage compliance and ensure best practice in the following areas: asbestos management, fire control management, water systems management, working at heights, electrical compliance, mechanical compliance, lifts, H&S inspections, etc.
• Ensure the proactive management of all hard and soft facilities tasks including, but not limited to office moves, PPM, reactive maintenance, office services and statutory compliance.
• Ensure that all planned and reactive maintenance are undertaken and completed within agreed schedules, frequencies, and statutory requirements.
• Implement and manage facilities contracts SLA's.
• Manage, query and follow up Facilities related tasks.
• Manage all utility contracts, council taxes and licenses.
• Line manage and give day-to-day supervision, direction and motivation to the Facilities Co-ordinators, Facilities administrator and Assistant.
• Manage the Facilities Helpdesk on a day-to-day basis ensuring requests, complaints and questions via telephone, e-mail or in person are acknowledged and acted upon within appropriate timelines and are escalated where required.
• Support and develop best practice standards, procedures, processes and expectations and deliver them to provide a first-class work experience.
• Ensure consistently high levels of customer service are delivered for all hard and soft service facilities and maintenance issues.
• Liaise regularly with contractors, making sure disruption to the Archbishop's family, other residents, staff and Hospitality is minimised and work is completed as quickly as possible.
• Ensure effective communication with the Archbishop's family, other residents, staff, Garden and Hospitality Teams on all work affecting the estate.
• Monitor and report on the Palace's environmental impact and initiating methods to improve sustainability.
• Assist the Head of Facilities & Steward in financial/budgetary management, including verifying and arranging payment of contractors' invoices and reporting on the annual budget.
• Where authority has been delegated, progress the work of the Head of Facilities & Steward in their absence and within agreed parameters, including out of hours working when required.

The Requirements

Essential

Qualifications:

• Hold NEBOSH General Certificate.
• IWFM qualification or equivalent experience.

Skills/Aptitudes:

Knowledge/Experience:

• Proven experience in hard and soft FM.
• Experience of leading, motivating and inspiring a team of facilities professionals to ensure that a diverse range of work is carried out.
• Experienced in leading H&S/compliance issues, including full management and organisation of health and safety records and systems.
• Practical experience of managing Health & Safety and carrying out risk assessments.
• Experience of dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders with a wide range of expectations, each requiring a different approach.
• Experience of overseeing a facilities Help Desk.

Circumstances:

• Whilst the NCIs are committed to wellbeing and work/life balance, a willingness and availability to work outside normal office hours (including some weekends) is required.
• Live within easy commuting distance to Lambeth Palace.
• Available to be contacted and/or attend the site out of normal working hours if required.

Desirable

• IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.
• First aid at work trained.

Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester Dioceses are working towards reaching Net Zero Carbon by 2030 and to incorporate sustainable working practices across all its operations. The Role of Safeguarding Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Coventry Diocesan Safeguarding team as a Safeguarding Administrator. 

You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with a range of stakeholders. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written will be key, as well as working collaboratively within a team.

The main responsibilities of the Safeguarding Administrator are:

• To provide effective and efficient administrative and logical support to the diocesan safeguarding team ensuring that all systems contribute to the delivery of high-quality service and the smooth running of the diocesan safeguarding teams work.
• Overseeing the team’s diary management, booking internal and external meetings
• Minute taking meetings including safeguarding meetings
• Screening calls and emails for the diocesan safeguarding team from a range of stake holders including those who may have vulnerabilities, using your initiative to respond to enquiries, delegate safeguarding referrals to the relevant members of the team
• Maintain and update relevant databases and recording systems, ensuring accurate records
• Be responsible for DBS administration of Parish Safeguarding Officers
• Developing knowledge of safeguarding policy to advise appropriately on matters relating to general parish safeguarding such as safer recruitment, training and parish dashboard
• Provide general administrative support, as deemed appropriate by the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor

We are seeking an experienced individual to develop our marketing and communications function and to help build our reputation as a centre of excellence in biblical studies. This is a varied and exciting role within a vibrant and ambitious small charity.

Tyndale House is a renowned institute for biblical studies and possesses one of the finest libraries for biblical research in the world. It aims to grow an international research community, to present the value of the Bible at the highest academic level, to resource the Church to understand and trust the Bible, and to promote informed attitudes to the Bible.

Working collaboratively across our small Communications and Development team, the post holder will develop, deliver and co-ordinate an integrated and effective marketing and communications plan. He/She will oversee day-to-day marketing activities and track their success and will help to deliver communications which are both engaging and professional.
