Temple Church is located in the Temple, City of London. The Church serves the legal colleges (Inns of Court) of Inner and Middle Temple, and serves members of the Inns and their families, London’s residents, visiting jurists and travellers from all over the world through the provision of some of the most uplifting services, music and discussions in London. Inner and Middle Temple have established a new registered charity, Temple Church Trust (Reg no 1205712), to maintain the Church, support its choristers and professional musical team, and develop its charitable activities. In advance of the Trust becoming operational in the summer, the Temple Church Committee wishes to appoint the first Chief Executive Officer of the Trust.
The role:
The CEO will be expected to lead and coordinate an established team of full-time and part-time staff; manage the Church’s multifaceted stakeholder network; ensure close control and management of the Church’s resources; and represent the Church and its work to the two Inns and externally so that the Church can function effectively and plan confidently for the future. The CEO will also be responsible for the Church's sensitive commercial development through the Trust’s wholly-owned commercial subsidiary company.
What we need:
You will be an excellent leader with effective interpersonal skills. Your recent experience will be at the director level or equivalent in the third sector, public sector, military or commerce. You will have a proven track record of leading or significantly contributing to the leadership of an organisation similar in size and complexity to the Temple Church. Proven experience in managing and delivering projects and income generation is essential. You should demonstrate a commitment to learning and development and sympathy for the mission and values of the Church of England.
What we offer:
This is a full-time position with an annual salary of £75,000. Benefits include a generous non-contributory defined contribution pension scheme, private health care, and 25 days’ annual leave (plus public holidays).

The Diocese of Winchester and the Diocese of Portsmouth are partnering exclusively with Robertson Bell to recruit a Strategic Programmes Finance Officer on a permanent, part-time basis (28 hours). The Diocese of Winchester (WDBF) and the Diocese of Portsmouth (PDBF) support the Ministry in, and the mission of, Church of England parishes in Winchester and Portsmouth and surrounding areas.
Reporting into, and working closely with, the Strategic Programme Managers of both dioceses, you will take responsibility for providing specific financial reconciliations, monitoring and reporting against the Strategic Development Fund (SDF) and Diocesan Investment Programme (DIP) funding received by the Diocese of Winchester and the Diocese of Portsmouth from the Church of England (Archbishop’s Council).
A key aspect of the role will involve financial planning and modelling for future DIP bids. SDF/DIP funding is given for projects within the dioceses that help to achieve their strategic objectives. The role also involves some historic analysis to ensure expenditure is correctly coded to the right project from previous funding.
In this Strategic Programmes Finance Officer role, you will:
- Support the Strategic Programme Managers, liaising with the Finance Team, drafting, costing, and modelling of financial information for future funding/grant bids, ensuring cost recovery for overheads and staff time is included on all projects.
- Prepare regular financial reports for the Strategic Development Team and senior leadership on the financial progress and outcomes of spend to date, ensuring transparency and accountability of the funds received for the various SDF/DIP projects.
- Ensuring any transactions for overheads or contributions to core costs are recorded accurately for costs incurred by SDF/DIP or shared by the WDBF/PDBF.
- Providing information to the Finance Team regarding projects as part of month or year-end processes.
- Support with the preparation of financial reports to Church of England on the funding spend to date at required intervals.
- Review of spend to date on Xledger vs spend expected by SDT to includes comparisons for projects, spend against budget and reconciliations moving forwards.

- Financial literacy and competency evidenced by qualification or experience.

Job Profile
The post is a pivotal role in CAFOD’s Asia & Middle East (AME) team supporting the Head of Region in the management and co-ordination of regional programming and organisational processes ensuring smooth administration, programme cycle management and communications. The post holder will be responsible for building effective working relationships with peers in the International Programme Group, as well as with colleagues across CAFOD such as funding, finance, and communications. They will act as the AME focal point for communications, supporting programme teams to develop materials for internal and external audiences.
CAFOD’s Asia & Middle East region currently has core programmes in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Lebanon, Myanmar, occupied Palestinian territory and Israel, Sri Lanka and Syria.
Key Responsibilities
The scope of the post falls into the following broad functions:
- Support and co-ordination: supporting the Head of Region in the management and coordination of cross-regional work and relevant organisational processes.
- Communications: supporting the effective communication and flow of information across the regional team and with the rest of the organisation, including supporting programme teams to prepare communications materials.
- Programme & financial support: supporting the Head of Region in the management of cross-regional partnership projects/programmes, providing similar support to Programme Officers in the region when their workload requires.
- Administration: providing administrative support to the Head of Region and the regional team,
- Representation: of the region across CAFOD (and occasionally externally), as requested by the Head of Region.
Support and coordination:

Programme & financial support:
- Assist the Head of Region in the management of any cross-regional partnership projects/programmes, including correspondence with partners, approval and payment of grants, monitoring and reviewing reports, and maintaining paper and electronic project files.
- Support Programme Officers across the region in their work with partners, managing grants to partners and other aspects of programme support when programme workloads require.
Communications:
- Support the effective flow of information and communication within the regional team and across CAFOD.
- Act as a key point of contact for information on the region’s work and work collaboratively with programme staff and other teams to ensure that CAFOD’s work in the region is fully reflected in the organisational agenda (e.g. in campaigning, fundraising, communications or media work).
- Be an active source of internal communication, providing easy access to information by developing and maintaining a regional team SharePoint site, as well as other specific sites on the intranet, and engaging with the media team as appropriate.
Administration:
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Region, including correspondence, information systems, management of the team diary, preparation and follow-up of monthly team meetings, design and monitoring of filing systems, and maintenance of database and other systems to provide effective planning, communication and information flow,
- Accompany staff to ensure efficient and effective use of the Programme Cycle Management system, working in conjunction with other teams in CAFOD, to provide support when necessary (e.g. when access is disrupted),
- Be the first point of contact and/or provide essential administrative support to the regional teams.
- Organise and co-ordinate induction for new staff directly managed by the Head of Region
- Provide administrative support to other members of the team where required, including helping to organise programmes for overseas staff/partner visits, travel and accommodation needs, routine correspondence, and occasional cover for colleagues when absent,
- Coordinate the work of the region’s London-based volunteers and liaise with relevant staff on all volunteer-based issues.
Representation:
- Attend and represent the region in CAFOD networks, working groups and similar fora on behalf of the Head of Region, or other members of the team as required,
- In agreement with the Head of Region attend external meetings or events occasionally and identify and follow up on actions from these.
Focal Point Responsibilities
The Regional Support Officer is the AME regional focal point on Safe, Accountable, Dignified and Inclusive programming (SADI). This role is currently held by the other job-share, but this post-holder will deputise from time to time.
Your role is responsible for ensuring that the programming work you are accountable for is safe, accessible, dignified and inclusive, providing ongoing support and follow-up to our partners in this area.

This role is a maternity cover role on a 9 - 12 month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for digital communications and creating engaging content for digital and social platforms. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and implementation skills, who will enjoy being creative and using their expertise to enhance SAT-7 UK digital communications. The Digital Content and Communications Officer (DCCO) reports to the Digital Communications Manager and has responsibility for the SAT-7 UK website, digital marketing and social media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Website: Developing and updating SAT-7’s websites as inspiring platforms to raise profile, income and engagement.
Emails: Work with colleagues in the Communications Team and across the organisation to build, test and send responsive email templates for all SAT-7 UK’s email requirements (meeting SAT-7’s brand guidelines and conforming to industry standards). Use email marketing tool DotDigital to develop automated communications that strengthen supporter engagement and convert recipients into committed donors.
Content: Deliver engaging and inspiring rich media content across a range of digital channels, including web, email, social media and other digital marketing platforms.
Social Media: Work closely with other team members to deliver strong social media content and engagement across various platforms, chiefly Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn.
Marketing: Support the digital marketing of SAT-7 resources and campaigns through social media advertising, external agencies and other channels as required, to engage more deeply with existing supporters and donors, acquire new supporters and to raise funds for SAT-7 UK.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- In all communication ensure consistent messaging, branding and tone of voice for the intended audience and that content conforms to the security and style guides.
- Use Customer Relationship Management systems to ensure efficient and secure storage of information.

- Liaise with SAT-7 staff from other offices to share ideas and resources.

The Role
The Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for staff and visitors, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience through face-to-face interactions and telephone communications. Collaborating closely with the Facilities Manager and job share partner, the role involves efficiently handling queries, managing the reception email account, and coordinating visitor bookings and parking logistics.
Responsibilities also include:
- Overseeing incoming/outgoing mail
- Facilitating large-scale mailings via the Royal Mail online system
- Managing publications on behalf of the Communications team
- Monitoring, and replenishing stationery supplies
- Producing access cards for new team members and contractors
Additionally, the Receptionist provides support to the Facilities Manager in handling the café coffee machine and food ordering as needed. The role requires availability for full-time coverage during annual leave and absences of the other job share post holder to ensure the continuous smooth operation of the reception area.

Are you an experienced surveyor looking for a varied and interesting role covering the expansive geographical area of all of London south of the Thames and all of Kent?
The Archdiocese comprises 175 parishes and 169 schools. Reporting to the Head of Diocesan Property, this role is pivotal in overseeing the professional aspects of the diocesan property portfolio, particularly the SE1 site.
In your role as Diocesan Surveyor, you will be responsible for;
- Ensure parish (and other diocesan) buildings are fit for purpose through planned and emergency maintenance works.
- Oversee the implementation and follow up of quinquennial surveys.
- Manage small capital works/expansion projects, ensuring planning permissions are sought and necessary sign-offs are achieved.
- Support the Head of Diocesan Property with projects relating to parish and other diocesan buildings.
- Recommend changes to meet current legislative requirements (e.g., disabled access).
- Keep the Head of Diocesan Property informed of proposed development, disposal, and/or acquisition opportunities.
- Meet with third parties, such as surveyors, architects, Local Authorities, to facilitate works.
In addition to the above you will also be responsible for SE1 Site Estate Management and your duties will include;
- Day-to-day management of utilities and security contracts for the SE1 site.

Role & Responsibilities
Working as an important member of a diverse team who are committed to serve the world’s most vulnerable with practical and compassionate care, the MHPSS Manager supports, monitors and evaluates the execution of the assigned Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Protection project(s) conducted by Psychosocial Support Officers (PSSOs). This involves effectively managing and reporting on the projects in line with objectives, timeframe, and budget under the direct supervision of MHPSS Project Manager (PM). In close cooperation with the MHPSS PM, the MHPSS Manager will be managing and training local staff to meet international quality standards in mental health and psychosocial support delivery, encouraging beneficiary participation, liaising with other stakeholders, and anticipating, planning, and contributing to report and proposal writing for integrated MHPSS components in overall programming with a special focus on Protection.
Project Overview
Medair’s goal in the Ukraine crisis is to provide rapid emergency assistance to the internally displaced people and others affected by the escalation of conflict in Ukraine, to cover their immediate needs in health, shelter, and basic assistance. The locations the MHPSS Manager will cover include, but are not limited to: Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv (including frontline areas).

Field based position is based in Sumy or Kharkiv with travel expected up to 50% of the time.

Key Activity Areas
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the assigned MHPSS project(s) in the North and East to meet the project objectives within budget and within the allotted timeframe, promptly reporting operational concerns to the MHPSS PM (e.g. projected failure to meet objectives; increased beneficiary needs; projected over or under spending on project budget).
- Provide strong leadership of the assigned MHPSS projects, ensuring both short-term and long-term positive impacts and outcomes for the beneficiaries, local authorities (where applicable) and local staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of an appropriate and effective MHPSS strategy including coordinating assessments at new field sites in consultation with MHPSS PM.
- Set clear objectives and indicators for MHPSS activities in collaboration with MHPSS PM.
- Continuously monitor and supervise MHPSS activities, evaluating progress through outputs and impacts using both quantitative and qualitative data involving the MHPSS team (PSS Officers and PSS assistants) in analysis and taking appropriate action as needed to ensure continued progress.
- Provide input into the integration of beneficiary participation and accountability in all aspects of the project.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all MHPSS activities.
- Assist in liaising with national authorities, mental health professionals, and community-based organizations (CBO).
- Follow security protocols and ensure they are followed by PSS staff.
Staff Management
- Line-manage the PSS Officers within the assigned projects, including day-to-day management.
- Facilitate regular meetings to assist information sharing between project staff, to ensure all staff members are aware of project objectives and current work plans and to provide the opportunity for feedback.
- Provide coaching and technical supervision to staff to develop ownership for MHPSS activities for officers, assistants, and community workers as needed.
- Assess the training needs of MHPSS staff and ensure together with the MHPSS PM that appropriate training is conducted.
Financial Management
- Under supervision of the MHPSS PM, manage the MHPSS budgets for the assigned project(s) in Kyiv and ensure all expenses are according to budget and meet the Medair standards about financial management, including accountability and good governance
Communication and Coordination
- Develop and maintain appropriate, regular, transparent, and supportive communication structures with the broader Medair team and other relevant stakeholders (e.g., beneficiaries, community leaders, local and national government officials, UN agencies and other NGOs), to ensure good cooperation and partnerships.
- Participate in Protection, MHPSS TWG, and other coordination or working group meetings as appropriate and as assigned by the MHPSS PM, as well as in Medair internal trainings representing Medair and feeding back to the MHPSS PM on relevant issues.
Logistics
- Liaise, as necessary, with the logistics and finance staff to ensure items are procured, transported, stored, managed and accounted for correctly.
Quality Management
- Promote and use the Medair operating procedures, ensuring that all standardised formats are used, and guidelines are followed.
- Ensure MHPSS projects are implemented in line with donor proposals and requirements and in accordance with Medair, donor, country and international standards i.e. Sphere, CHS and IASC guidelines.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess quality of activities and to meet with and coordinate with local authorities and organisations.
