The United Society Partners in the Gospel is the Anglican mission agency that partners with churches worldwide in God’s mission to enliven faith, strengthen relationships, unlock potential and champion justice. It has played a significant role in worldwide Christian mission since its foundation in 1701.
As the new Major Donor Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and deliver a new major donor programme, working closely with the Global Mission team to develop cases for support and impact reporting, as well as work in close collaboration with other teams to maintain innovative thinking. You will be developing plans that will feed directly into the USGPG Fundraising strategy with a focus on increasing engagement from High-Net-Worth-Individuals.
To be the Major Donor Manager they need, you will have:
- Experience of managing and developing a major donor portfolio/pipeline
- Experience of designing and delivering high impact stewardship programmes
- Experience of designing or supporting the delivery of high value events

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000
Location: London – Hybrid, 2 days on-site.

The role of the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships is to work alongside the Director of Operations in developing the day-to-day sustainable income strategy to fund the New Wine Trust's day-to-day operations.
Partnerships
· You will be responsible for developing our relationship with key ministry partners. This includes negotiating contracts with sponsors, partners, and delivery partners. It will include but not be limited to:
o Developing Event Sponsorship and Exhibitor offerings at New Wine Events
o Growing Annual Partnerships with key partners
Fundraising
· In partnership with the Director of Operations, National Leadership and Trustees, you will also be responsible for creating and delivering a New Wine Fundraising Strategy. This will include:
o Working alongside the Marketing and Communications team to develop supporter engagement communications.
o Developing plans that feed into the New Wine Fundraising strategy to increase engagement from high net-worth individuals and cultivate new high-value donors.
o To manage the major donor income and expenditure budgets, ensuring all activity meets income targets.
o Championing the use of our CRM for supporter engagement.
o Reviewing, writing and submitting proposals for grant applications.
o Overseeing the delivery of the charity’s fundraising events.
Business Development
· Identifying new revenue generation opportunities, such as
o New Wine Online
o New Wine Resources (Books, Music and Merch Sales)
o Cafes and Concessions at Events

Role Particulars
Working Pattern: Full time working hours, including weekly in-person team meetings in London: monthly all-staff meetings on Tuesdays twice a month, and weekly on Wednesdays twice a month. The nature of this role means that some travel and working away from home will be required, as agreed in advance. Specifically, the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships must be available for the annual leadership conference and some or all of the New Wine annual summer festival (on-site or remote support).
Places of work: This role is eligible for hybrid and flexible working, with a minimum of 1 day in the London office a week.
Supervision: The post holder will receive regular supervision from their line manager.
Role review: There is a three-month probationary period for this role. The post holder will then receive a quarterly rolling review of performance, the role, job description, terms and package.
This post is subject to an occupational requirement that the holder be a practising Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

Our Principal is looking for a Personal Assistant who has the initiative to drive projects forward and is highly organised. This is an exciting new role within a vibrant and growing Charity. The successful candidate will provide strong executive support to the Principal as he seeks to further develop the organisation’s outputs.
Tyndale House is a renowned institute for biblical studies and possesses one of the finest libraries for biblical research in the world. It aims to grow an international research community, to present the value of the Bible at the highest academic level, to resource the Church to understand and trust the Bible, and to promote informed attitudes to the Bible.
The role of Personal Assistant to the Principal will provide the Principal with proactive and confidential project-related and administrative support, with a particular focus on development and fundraising activities. Our current annual expenditure on charitable activities is around £1.3m and we rely on donations and receive no public subsidy. The Principal therefore acts as both the head of the Charity as well as the primary fundraiser.
The post-holder will possess strong written communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the tenacity to follow work through to completion. He/she should have experience in a previous PA and/or fundraising & development role, ideally within the Charity sector.
