The Diocese of Guildford has an exciting part-time opportunity for a Community Project Lead to manage our parish-based community project, Hear Here. As a member of the Mission Enabler Team, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly with enthusiastic colleagues across the wider Church House.

The Hear Here Project is a collaboration between the Diocese, Parishes, NHS Audiology Departments and Sight for Surrey to assist those who wear an NHS-issued hearing aid with any technical issues at clinics run by trained hearing champions. The clinics work to reduce social isolation through the maintenance of hearing devices, conversation, and friendship.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Manage a team of volunteers to ensure clinics run consistently, safely, and according to required standards.

· Delivery of training in partnership with NHS trusts and development of complementary missional training.

· Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Administer and oversee project governance

· Raise the profile of Hear Here to increase the number of clinics

· Actively seek new funding streams for the project.

· Oversee collection and analysis of data to enable accurate and timely reporting

· Have experience in leading, developing and managing volunteer teams.

The Role:

The post-holder will be key in supporting the WWP in this, and also, with both WWP and CEO, in mapping out the key events and activities over a 6 year cycle, so that there is a clear structure for the new WWP (and ultimately successor to CEO ) to come into and work with. They will also assist the CEO in “standard agenda planning” for the board, for example, the induction of the new Board in early 2025.

Whilst the role is for 3 days per week, ideally this would be flexible, with the individual working more days at certain times (for example during the Board week) and less at quieter times.

Work Location

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays.

About the role:

As Facilities Assistant Manager, you will deliver the day-to-day provision of quality support services at World Vision UK, ensuring excellence and the best value to the organisation. The Role

• Ensure the Lambeth Palace estate is managed to the highest possible standard, ensuring all areas are well presented, safe, secure and compliant for all visitors, residents and staff alike.
• Review and regularly ensure all agreed security measures are in place and are communicated accordingly.
• Ensure all works undertaken across the Lambeth Palace estate are safely assessed and authorised before they are carried out.

KHCCC are embarking on an exciting chapter, creating the new role of Director of Development (Children and Families). With their Christian values driving transformation, this role is pivotal. KHCCC are seeking an innovative leader to join their executive leadership team and help steer change.

This opportunity will involve leading the transformation of their established Pre-school into a thriving year-round nursery. Furthermore, it includes launching a new childcare service at their second church site, enriching family and children's initiatives, and strengthening ties with borough leaders and funding bodies. This role will be instrumental in establishing connections between KHCCC and other services, enabling the comprehensive development in a unified approach.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in creating and implementing operational strategies and overseeing changes.
• Ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Experience in management, including overseeing teams and coordinating organisational tasks and responsibilities.
• A passion for family support and children's development.

To work with and complement the Youth Minister, supporting Contact (15-18s) and Centrepoint (11-14s), giving insight from a female perspective and developing opportunities for discipleship with female young adults. We have a growing number of female young adults in our youth groups and see a need to expand our ability to reach them with the gospel.
