HR Assistant, zero hours, circa £11-13 per hour, home-based
This is a 6-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension
We are looking for an HR Assistant to support the team during a busy period while we implement a new self-service database for our staff and also an Applicant Tracking System for recruitment. The role will include recruitment administration, such as advertising vacancies, and organising interviews. In addition, you would be responsible for writing and sending HR letters, logging HR data and carrying out HR projects, as required.
We are looking for someone who has previous HR administrative experience. You will be an excellent communicator with good IT and time management skills. You will also have previous experience of handling confidential or sensitive information effectively. Salary for the post is circa £11-13 per hour, depending on experience.
This role is based from home and required during office hours, with most work required on a Monday and Tuesday. Please note that we expect to have about 5 hours work a week, but this will vary from week to week and hours are not guaranteed. Preference will be given to applicants with the most flexibility. You will need to be available to start asap.
The successful candidate is required to have a quiet, confidential space to work, without distractions. You will also be required to provide your own laptop/desktop computer and have a good broadband connection. Family Lives IT team will set up access to the packages required.
This role would suit someone looking to develop their skills in HR within a medium size charity. We are a small team so there is an opportunity to get involved in lots of different tasks.
