This an exciting opportunity for an organised, part time Fundraising and Communications Administrator to join our amazing charity, which exists to provide children from disadvantaged backgrounds with a wonderful week of mud-and-magic in the British countryside.

About the Role
We are looking for a first class administrator with strong database management experience to join our Exeter based fundraising team as we embark on a period of growth and development.
Working within an expanding and varied department (between 20 and 30 hours per week), you’ll undertake a diverse range of tasks to support our fundraisers as they concentrate their efforts on generating income. You will maintain the fundraising database to ensure it is up to date and that the records for all supporters are accurate and consistent. You will prepare and administer correspondence to ensure excellent supporter care, manage mailings that include applying database queries for data extraction, mails merges and printing. There will also be the opportunity to assist in the planning and implementation of internal fundraising events as well as supporting volunteers who put on in-aid of events or participate in third-party challenge events.
This role requires significant administration experience and a strong insight into building long-term donor loyalty by providing exceptional customer service. Your outstanding communication skills will be matched by strong database skills ensuring you can confidently record, maintain, report and analyse the charity’s supporter data and fundraising income.
Your interpersonal skills and collaborative approach will be pivotal to cultivation of external stakeholders and supporting the fundraising team.
In order to succeed you will be highly motivated by the charity’s work with children, food, the countryside and farming; have an excellent working knowledge of CRM’s, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; strong attention to detail, producing work with a high level of accuracy. Excellent written and oral communication skills - particularly a welcoming telephone manner to provide excellent donor stewardship to supporters at all times, maintaining positive working relationships with donors in order to build lasting support. You will be adaptable and organised in prioritising workloads and work effectively to deadlines
