Client Operations Junior Manager

Who are we?

Fearless Futures (FF) serves daring organisations - across sectors - ready to actively challenge inequities by addressing their roots, intersections, and lived realities. We do this as an ambitious group of multi-disciplinary specialists by facilitating transformative, experiential equity and inclusion education and partnering with our clients through consultancy to re-design their policies and processes to operationalise equitable ecosystems for their people and products. 

The role


  • Remote, with access to local co-working spaces. We are an entirely ‘remote’ organisation.

  • We invite applicants living in the UK who have the right to work as unfortunately we are not sponsoring work visas at this time.


Role Type: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Salary: Junior Manager pay band  

  • £33,350- £45,000


Precise salary will be decided within the band on the basis of experience and skillset. 


  • 10% pension contributions 

  • Personal leave allowance: 25 days total plus 8 public/federal holidays. The FF offices close at year end, giving all staff a further c4-5 days of leave

What will the role involve?

  • This role will simultaneously engage in seamless client communications and balance complex scheduling needs (often with competing timelines between client wishes and our internal teams). 

  • Detail-oriented project management, including collaborating cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure high quality, accurate deliverables are disseminated for in-person and virtual workshops.

  • Effective utilisation of organisational platforms (custom scheduling software, Asana, G Suite, Eventbrite, and other third party programmes). 

  • Routine maintenance of client feedback, including the creation of client data surveying reports. 

  • High attention to detail and execution of fiscal processes, including client invoicing.

  • Analysis of practice, policies, documents, and data to continuously improve operational processes at Fearless Futures.

  • Client relationship management, facilitating a smooth handoff from the Business Development team. This role will communicate with clients via video conferencing (Google Handout, Zoom, and Webex) and email. 


The role will report into Laurie Jevons (she/her), Director of Operations based in Portland, Maine and will have no direct reports. This position will have less than 10% travel.

Requirements for the role: 

  • Commitment to our mission and vision and values and a desire for the organisation to grow and thrive.

  • 3+ years working across multiple work streams in a fast-paced and or entrepreneurial environment.

  • Experience with operations, including invoicing, scheduling, and project management. 

  • Experience building strong and trusted stakeholder (internal and external) relationships.



  • Experience working from home with a team across multiple time zones.

Interview process

  1. Round 1: rolling basis by Zoom.

This will involve a live assessment of your project management and operational skills and an interview. This will be with Laurie Jevons (she/her), Director of Operations and Ellie Green (she/her), Senior Facilitation Manager. All assessment activities will be live so you will not be required to prepare anything outside of the hours of the interview. 

Approx. duration: 2 hours. 


  1. Round 2: rolling basis by Zoom.

This will involve another live assessment of your organisational and communication skills, and an interview. This will be with Laurie Jevons (she/her), Director of Operations and Sable Lomax (she/her), Chief Relationships Officer. All assessment activities will be live so you will not be required to prepare anything outside of the hours of the interview. 

Approx. duration: 2 hours.


  1. Round 3, if required, though we do not expect it: rolling basis by Zoom. 

This will be an interview with our Director of Operations and Chief Relationships Officer. 

Approx. duration: 1 hour.
