We're recruiting expert anti-oppression self-employed/freelance Organisational Programmes Facilitators to deliver our transformative anti-oppression programmes, across time-zones, to clients from a wide range of industries.

A remote anti-oppression education organisation based in the UK and USA.
The role

Our facilitators deliver our transformative anti-oppression curriculum to people across a range of organisations, globally (tech, finance, advertising, government and others) - from entry level, right up to CEOs and Founders.

Our facilitators are engaging, expert, professional and adaptable.

They are offered work based on business we have, their availability and their performance. We cannot ever promise a certain volume of work - or even any work.

Facilitators may be based globally but must be fluent in English and able to work across time zones (mostly: East and West Coast USA, Europe, Singapore).

The hours of this role are dependent on availability of work and availability of facilitator as this is a freelance role.
Skills for the role
Essential:

Having a reliable internet connection and your own computer.

Ability to complete short administrative and logistical tasks swiftly.

Experience of working in an educational setting/role. (Eg. facilitator, trainer, teacher etc.)

Excellent communication skills - warm yet challenging and holding space for learning.

Strong anti-oppression knowledge rooted in intersectionality and across 9 systems of oppression: colonialism, racism, islamophobia, antisemitism, sexism, heterosexism, cissexism, disablism, classism.

Adaptability - knowing when to change direction or take greater steer in the learning.

Strong emotional awareness - potentially managing emotions (tears, defensiveness etc.) of learners.

Confidence in facing and unpacking problematic thinking to create meaningful new learning, in a compassionate and purposeful way.

Strong alignment with Fearless Futures’ philosophy.

Go Global! Work across time zones (mostly: East and West Coast USA, Europe, Singapore) virtually and will be moving to in-person programmes in 2022.
Pay
We pay £375 (UK) / $400 (US) a day for facilitation plus extra, generous payments for preparation time and decompression per programme.
Training Rate

Whilst you are training (in-classroom and on-the-job) you will be on a £150/$200 day rate.

We place our facilitators both on their availability and the quality of their delivery.

Your pay will increase once you are signed off as a lead facilitator to £375/$400 per day.
