About our work

Feed the Minds is a small, but ambitious UK-based international development organisation, operating in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Our projects emphasis partnership and sustainable solutions promoting economic empowerment, health, and citizenship through practical education. Our funding comes from a wide variety of sources: individual supporters, networks, and church groups as well as trusts and statutory funders and we are keen to diversify our funding streams.

 

 

 

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join an ambitious international development organisation.  This is a wonderful opportunity to undertake a varied role with lots of potential to shape and develop a communications strategy for an organisation that values creativity. 

 

You will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering an effective external and internal communications programme in keeping with Feed the Minds’ mission and strategy to increase the influence and impact of our work.

 

To be successful in this role you will need to be flexible and work in a constantly changing environment.  You will have strong organisation skills, excellent written skills, with strong attention to details, and the ability to write and communicate key findings and stories in a clear and compelling manner to a range of audiences.

 

You will have a proven track record in communications and profile-raising, developing engaging and creative communications.

 

Due to current circumstances this role will initially be home based but we are now giving our staff the opportunity to have flexible working, coming into the office a couple of days per week.
