Fundraising Manager, Feed the Minds (9-12 month maternity cover)
Contract: Full-time, temporary
Salary range: £29k - £33k
Location: Vauxhall, London
Feed the Minds is looking for a highly skilled and ambitious Fundraising Manager to deliver our fundraising strategy for the organisation – helping to improve the lives of women and their families in marginalised communities in the Global South. We are an international NGO, working with partner organisations in the Global South to run innovative projects for women and vulnerable people living in some of the world’s poorest communities.
About our work
Feed the Minds is a small, but ambitious UK-based international development organisation, operating in 10 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Our projects emphasise partnership and sustainable solutions promoting economic empowerment, health and citizenship through practical education. Our funding comes from a wide variety of sources, with a particular focus on increasing our digital fundraising and regular giving income streams.
About the role
The right person will be an innovative networker and influencer, with strong analytical skills. We are looking for a candidate with several years’ experience of fundraising, including a proven track record of winning and delivering partnerships with, and funds from, companies, community groups and individuals. We are particularly interested in a background in digital fundraising and/or event or community fundraising.
We are keen to find the right person for this role and would therefore be happy to discuss flexible working arrangements, if needed. We can offer supportive working relationships with our core team based in London and our international partners.
Our current Fundraising Manager is due to go on maternity leave in mid-September and ideally, we would like a short handover period.
This post will initially be a 9-month contract with the opportunity to extend.
