Job Description

You’re a driven, assertive Marketing Manager who can identify and make the decisions necessary to keep your strategy moving in the right direction.

You’ll be results focused, with that perfect combination of creative flair and strategic way of thinking.

With your experience in this industry, you will already know the power of a well implemented brand, and how to use data to have the most impact.

For a charity funding pioneering eye research to treat and prevent eyesight loss, we’re looking for someone like you to help us with our brand.

You’ll need to make it more visually appealing, effective and focus it on demonstrating the personal impact of sight loss on the lives of people living with eye conditions, and the breakthroughs that are already being achieved through the ground-breaking research we fund.

How will you do this?

Firstly, you will be taking the lead in embedding our new brand and visual identity to demonstrate the need for more research that will change the lives of those living with sight loss.

You’ll also be enhancing our presence (both digitally and wider) to engage new supporters and meet our fundraising goals.  

When you join us, you’ll be a key member of the Marketing and Communications Team. Working with colleagues from all teams, supporting them with their marketing needs, collaborating on projects, and helping us make our way through the vast amounts of cake in the office.

Naturally, you’ll be the first point of contact for all day-to-day marketing queries and manage several key suppliers including copywriters, designers, media planners and digital agencies.

You will also work with a Marketing and Communications Officer who’ll report into you and benefit from your vast experience.

This is a full time, permanent position, based in our offices in London. You’re two minutes from places like Pret, Abokado and the Goulston Street food market next to Petticoat Lane. We can offer you a salary of between £40,000-£42,000 per annum + benefits including 10% non-contributory pension, discretionary flexible working and a diverse group of individuals just waiting to say hello to you.

We have a regular social calendar, and we’re keen to add a few more new starter lunches to it.
