About the role:
The Finance Manager will lead on implementing sound procedures and provide critical financial information to their staff and Board members.
You will be responsible for ensuring the day to day running of a small finance team, monitoring organisation and financial performance, preparing monthly management accounts, ensuring financial compliance, liaising with the Business Management Team on financial planning and developing financial systems already in place.
Epic CIC operate in a challenging financial environment. They have a successful track record in securing funding from various sources and their business development strategy will see a diversification in income generation. As a member of the senior management team, you will advise on financial implications and risks associated with Epic’s Business and Growth strategy.

This is a great opportunity for someone with extensive financial and accountancy expertise who wants to join their social enterprise and help them achieve their social mission. They are looking for a team player who enjoys taking responsibility and can upskill and support staff in financial management.
You will hold a formal accountancy qualification (full or part qualified) with an in-depth knowledge of accounting regulations. You will have experience of finance management including budgeting, forecasting and producing financial reports.
You will have an eye for detail, be organised, have the ability to manage complex workloads and be able to work independently. You will also be experienced at working with external stakeholders, partners, auditors and staff.
