Hands On London is an innovative volunteering charity providing flexible ways in which busy people can give their time. We support individuals and groups across the City and deliver the annual Wrap Up London Campaign. Our current post holder is re-locating, so we are looking for a unique person to fill the role.
We are largely a volunteer lead organisation, so you would be joining a small paid team working along side our staff, volunteer team leaders and Trustees. Hands On London has a repution for being innovative and different. All of our team are quite flexible in their roles to ensure we can respond to the needs of our volunteers and mission.
Key duties will include maintaining financial records and evidence thereof, issuing invoices and managing receivables. Preparing Flash reports, statements and preparing the financial statement for the Annual Report. There will be the opportunity to directly support some of our volunteer days during the year.
The role is part-time for 15hours a week. In line with our mission, these hours can be flexible, although it is expected that some regular time is spent in the office at Bethnal Green and occassionally out on projects. Salary will be in the range of £12 to £16 per hour depending on experiance.
You should have an Accounting Qualification, be proficient with MS Office and Quickbooks. Have excellent communications skills and the desire to become part of an innovate team.
