Temple Church is located in the Temple, City of London. The Church serves the legal colleges (Inns of Court) of Inner and Middle Temple, and serves members of the Inns and their families, London’s residents, visiting jurists and travellers from all over the world through the provision of some of the most uplifting services, music and discussions in London. The role:
The CEO will be expected to lead and coordinate an established team of full-time and part-time staff; manage the Church’s multifaceted stakeholder network; ensure close control and management of the Church’s resources; and represent the Church and its work to the two Inns and externally so that the Church can function effectively and plan confidently for the future. The CEO will also be responsible for the Church's sensitive commercial development through the Trust’s wholly-owned commercial subsidiary company.
What we need:
You will be an excellent leader with effective interpersonal skills. Your recent experience will be at the director level or equivalent in the third sector, public sector, military or commerce. You will have a proven track record of leading or significantly contributing to the leadership of an organisation similar in size and complexity to the Temple Church. Proven experience in managing and delivering projects and income generation is essential. What we offer:

Job purpose
This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial sustainability and integrity of LGT, developing resilient foundations for our front-line services, community development, policy and campaigns work to grow in scale and impact.
Working closely with the CEO, Project and Team Leads, you’ll lead all aspects of financial management from budgeting, accounting and compliance, financial management of grants, to reporting to the Finance Committee to support the Board of Trustees and leadership with financial planning and decision making. Finance is the core of the role, however you’ll also use your data management and organisation skills to help us maintain and develop our workflow and data management systems and processes, and oversee other core operational functions delivered by our Business Operations Administrator.

Role responsibilities

Fundraising Manager (Grants and Trusts)
Working closely with the Chief Executive, the Fundraising Manager will help secure and sustain existing and new grant income streams from trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, statutory bodies, and other local or national funders. The Fundraising Manager will work with others to research and identify prospective new funding opportunities, write and submit grant applications, and build strong relationships with donors. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior fundraiser with expertise in managing income from trusts, foundations and companies to join upReach as we develop our new three year strategy; 2024 - 2027. The Senior Fundraising Manager will make a significant contribution to the growth of upReach through the raising of five and six figure, multi year gifts from Trust & Foundations and Companies.
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Development, you will have responsibility for approved income targets, line management and accountability for a portfolio of high profile funders. You will work collaboratively across the organisation including the delivery and impact teams, finance, partnerships, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Trustees.
Core Responsibilities
The Senior Fundraising Manager will uphold upReach’s mission by meeting financial targets, leading on the acquisition and stewardship of key funders and having a significant impact across your area of responsibility and the charity as a whole.

The Role
JLGB are recruiting a Finance & Fundraising Coordinator who will play a vital role in helping the charity achieve its financial, fundraising and organisational objectives. Supporting the Director of Operations & Finance, the role is essential for the smooth running of the charity’s finances, collaborating with teams across JLGB, as well as volunteers and external suppliers. We are looking for a friendly, organised individual to join our small team as the Operations Officer. You will help underpin the work of Music as Therapy International, a charity which inspires, guides and champions the use of music to strengthen care around the world.
Working closely with the charity’s existing team, responsibilities will include:Project Administration, External comms, Financial Administration, Fundraising, Governance, and Team Administration.
Our Operations Officer will need to be a positive and pro-active team player, who is systematic in their approach to administration, and gives strong attention to detail. We’re looking for an excellent communicator (in written and spoken English) given the part they will play in our use of External Comms. They will have charitable mindset and a real interest in the impact of our work. Strong numeracy skills are also integral to this role.
It is a broad role with plenty of opportunities for agency, and scope to progress and specialise with experience. It would suit someone keen to immerse themselves in all aspects of working with a small charity, whether at the start of their career or following experience acquired in other sectors.

The Role
In this role, you'll ensure supporters, volunteers and staff receive timely and effective support. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining the database and processing supporter donations, including direct debits, standing orders and bank payment files, with the utmost accuracy and adherence to GDPR policies.
Your main responsibilities will include entering new supporter information into the database, maintaining supporter records, reconciling donations and managing data imports.
You'll also process Gift Aid declarations and claims, handle direct debits, standing orders and other payments, and maintain subscription schemes. Additionally, you'll assist in handling incoming mail, processing orders and addressing complaints and feedback with empathy and professionalism.

Role Overview
As Family Centre Manager you will play a vital role in the leadership of our church and charity’s community ministry to local children aged 0-11 and their families. Based out of our dedicated family centre, you will be responsible for leading a committed team of staff and volunteers to deliver a holistic programme of support and activities that meets local needs and reflects our Christian values and mission.
You will co-ordinate the day-to-day delivery of the centre’s activities and services, ensuring that delivery is responsive to the views and needs of local parents, carers and children while meeting the contractual requirements of our funders, and ensuring that staff and volunteers are working effectively to support positive outcomes for children and families.
Working with the Fern Street Steering Group, you will also help maintain the centre’s long-term sustainability, this will include maintaining existing partnerships, oversee fundraising efforts and ensuring that adequate resources (people, finances, in-kind) are available to support current and future areas of activity. This will also involve maintaining and developing strong engagement of the congregation and wider staff team of All Hallows Bow church in the ministry of the centre.
You will also take responsibility for overseeing Fern Street Family Centre’s spiritual life and mission - by nurturing a healthy team culture of prayer and mutual support and ensuring that our Christian values and mission are embedded throughout our work.
